USING SWAMI ON THE COURSE
When you arrive at the golf course, turn on SWAMI by holding the button until “1220 GOLF” appears on the screen. SWAMI will count off seconds until it locates satellites. “LOCATING SAT” will also appear at the bottom the screen. Once the satellites are located, SWAMI 3000 will find your course. “FINDING GC” will appear at the bottom of the screen. When you arrive at the golf course, turn on SWAMI by holding the button until “1220 GOLF” appears on the screen.If the wrong course is found, press the button once. “COURSE MODE” will appear at the bottom of the screen. Press the button again to return to yardage mode. Press the a button to move from hole to hole. The hole number will appear on the left side of the screen. When you’re on a hole, press (but don’t hold) the e button to toggle distance between the Front, Center and Back of the green (Front, Center or Back icons are on the right side of the screen). Turn off your SWAMI by pressing the button until “SHUT DOWN” appears on the screen.
TROUBLESHOOTING
If your SWAMI appears to be unresponsive it may be caused by a temporary software issue. If this is the case, your unit will shut itself off within 15-20 seconds. Restarting SWAMI should solve the issue.
