IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
- Do not operate an electric wine opener with a damaged cord or plug, after the appliance malfunctions or if it is dropped or damaged in any manner. Return the appliance to the nearest Authorized Service Center for examination, repair, or electrical or mechanical adjustment.
- To protect against the risk of electrical shock, do not put the electric wine opener in water or other liquid. This may cause personal injury and/or damage to the product.
- To protect against fire, do not operate the unit in the presence of explosive and/or flammable fumes.
- Do not use the electric wine opener for other than intended use.
- This product is intended for normal domestic household use only.
- When using or recharging the electric wine opener keep your workspace clean and free from potential hazards.
- For indoor use only. Do not expose the electric wine opener or charging unit to rain or other extreme conditions
- Never force the electric wine opener onto a bottle or attempt to speed up the mechanism. The electric wine opener will work best when it is operated at its intended speed.
- Do not touch or adjust the electric wine opener’s mechanism or the corkscrew spiral. Only hold the electric wine opener by its plastic housing.
- Do not attempt to open bottles if the switch is not working correctly.
- Do not attempt to open the electric wine opener or the recharging unit. It has no serviceable parts. Your electric wine opener is guaranteed for one year. In the event of a malfunction at this time please contact our customer services department.
- Only recharge the electric wine opener using the recharging unit and power cord supplied.
- Never remove the plug from the socket by pulling the power cord.

Your OSTER® Waffle Maker is thermostatically controlled to help you prepare waffles to perfection. Your unit is portable so you can make waffles in your kitchen or right at the table. How to use your oster® waffle maker
- Open the unit by lifting the upper handle.
- Before using it for the first time, clean cooking plates with a cloth or sponge dampened with hot, soapy water. DO NOT IMMERSE THE UNIT IN WATER. Rinse with a dampened cloth or sponge and wipe dry.
- When using it for the first time, “season” the grids by rubbing lightly with cooking oil. Should sticking occur in later usage, re-season your unit.
Care and Cleaning
- Unplug and allow the unit to cool before cleaning.
- Clean waffle grids with cloth or sponge dampened with hot, soapy water. DO NOT IMMERSE THE UNIT IN WATER. Rinse with a dampened cloth or sponge and wipe dry.
- To remove cooked-on foods, use a nylon scrub pad or non-abrasive cleanser. A steel wool pad or abrasive cleaner will damage the non-stick surface.
- Store in closed position.
- Any servicing required should be performed only by an authorized service facility.
- This appliance is for household use only.
Hints for tasty waffles
- Do not over-mix waffle batter. Beating egg whites separately and folding them gently into the batter surely will create a lighter, crispier waffle.
- Completely bake waffles before removing them from the unit.
- Don’t open the Waffle Maker while steam is escaping from the sides and front of the unit.
- Why not freeze-prepared waffles for those busy days ahead? Just bake the waffles as directed. Cool on a wire rack and wrap in moisture-proof paper or plastic. Quickly reheat in your toaster oven, broiler, or microwave oven.
Variations
Pecan or Macadamia Nut Waffles: Sprinkle 1 Tbsp. (15 ml) Finely chopped pecans or macadamia nuts over preheated waffle grids. Pour ¾ cup (200 ml) batter over the nuts and close the Waffle Maker. Bake as directed. Bacon Waffles: Cook bacon strips. Pour ¾ cup (200 ml) batter over waffle grids. Cut 1 strip of bacon in half, lay over the batter, and close the Waffle Maker. Bake as directed. Cheese Waffles: Fold in 1½ cups (375 ml) shredded cheddar cheese into batter. Bake as directed. Serve with syrup or your favorite creamed entrée. Blueberry Waffles: Fold 2 cups (500 ml) fresh blueberries into batter. Pour ¾ cup (200 ml) batter over grids. Bake until golden. Chocolate Chip Waffles: Fold 1 cup (250 ml) chocolate chips into batter. Bake as directed.
3-Year Limited Warranty
Sunbeam Products, Inc. (collectively “Sunbeam”) warrants that for a period of three years from the date of purchase, this product will be free from defects in material and workmanship. Sunbeam, at its option, will repair or replace this product or any component of the product found to be defective during the warranty period. Replacement will be made with a new or remanufactured product or component.
If the product is no longer available, a replacement may be made with a similar product of equal or greater value. This is your exclusive warranty. Do NOT attempt to repair or adjust any electrical or mechanical functions on this product. Doing so will void this warranty. This warranty is valid for the original retail purchaser from the date of the initial retail purchase and is not transferable. Keep the original sales receipt. Proof of purchase is required to obtain warranty performance. Sunbeam dealers, service centers, or retail stores selling Sunbeam products do not have the right to alter, modify, or in any way change the terms and conditions of this warranty.
This warranty does not cover normal wear of parts or damage resulting from any of the following: negligent use or misuse of the product, use on improper voltage or current, use contrary to the operating instructions, disassembly, repair, or alteration by anyone other than Sunbeam or an authorized Sunbeam service center. Further, the warranty does not cover Acts of God, such as fire, flood, hurricanes, and tornadoes.
