FAQS

  1. How does an air purifier work?
Air purifiers use filters and fans to remove airborne particles and pollutants from the air. They typically contain a pre-filter, a HEPA (High-Efficiency Particulate Air) filter, and sometimes additional filters like activated carbon to trap particles and odors.
  2. What does the HEPA filter do?
HEPA filters are designed to capture particles as small as 0.3 microns in size, including dust, pollen, pet dander, and some bacteria and viruses. They are highly effective at improving indoor air quality.
  3. How often should I replace the filters?
Filter replacement frequency depends on the specific air purifier and its usage. Check the user manual or product documentation for recommended replacement intervals. Typically, pre-filters may need replacement every few months, while HEPA filters can last 1-2 years.
  4. What is the coverage area of the Philips AC0819 Compact Air Purifier?
Refer to the product specifications or user manual for information on the purifier’s recommended room size or coverage area. It’s essential to choose an air purifier that matches the size of the room you intend to use it in.
  5. How noisy is the Philips AC0819 Compact Air Purifier?
