The Mini Universal Remote Control can be programmed to operate with different brands of garage door openers. It is compatible with most garage door opener systems manufactured by Chamberlain ®, LiftMaster ®, Sears Craftsman ®, Xtreme Garage®, Sommer ®, Ryobi®, Garage Master ®, Genie ®, Linear ®, Stanley ®, Overhead Door ®, Wayne Dalton ®, Moore-OMatic ®, Do-It ®, Master Mechanic ®, Raynor ®, and True Value ®. NOTE: The Mini Universal Remote Control is NOT compatible with DIP switch remote controls or receivers.

PROGRAMMING

IMPORTANT:
The remote will activate your door or gate during programming. Ensure the door or gate is clear of ALL obstructions. NOTE: If the Mini Universal Remote Control is being programmed to a Genie Garage Door Opener, visit LiftMaster.com for programming instructions. LED Bottom Button The Mini Universal Remote Control comes preset to work with LiftMaster Security+ 2.0® operators. For LiftMaster Security+ 2.0® operators, press and release the operator’s LEARN button. Then press and hold the remote button to complete programming. For all other garage door openers, gate operators, and commercial door operators, follow the programming steps below

  1. Start with your garage door, gate, or commercial door closed.
  2. Press and hold the bottom button on the remote control until the blue LED stays solid (approximately 15 seconds) then release the button.

  3. Press and release the Program/LEARN button on your product. A ladder may be necessary to reach the Program/ LEARN button.LiftMaster 374UT Universal Mini Remote Control User Manual fig 2NOTE: Visit LiftMaster.com/374ut to program the Mini Universal Remote Control for a commercial door operator.

  4. On the remote control, press and release the button that you would like to program twice. The blue LED will blink and the remote control will begin sending the pre-programmed codes to the garage door opener. Transmission can take up to 60 seconds.
  5. When the garage door opener or gate opener moves, immediately press and release either of the buttons on the remote control to confirm the code and exit programming.

TEST
Test the remote control by pressing the button you programmed in step 4. If the garage door opener does not activate, repeat the programming steps or visit LiftMaster.com/374ut for additional instructions.

REMOTE CONTROL BATTERY

To prevent possible SERIOUS INJURY or DEATH:

  • NEVER allow small children near batteries.
  • If the battery is swallowed, immediately notify the doctor.

To reduce the risk of fire, explosion, or chemical burn:

  • Replace ONLY with 3V CR2032 coin batteries.
  • DO NOT recharge, disassemble, heat above 212°F (100°C) or incinerate.

Dispose of batteries properly. Replace ONLY with 3V CR2032 coin batteries.
