IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

- Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner. To avoid hazards, return appliance to NESCO® Factory Service Department for examination, repair or adjustment.
- The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the manufacturer may result in fire, electric shock or injury to persons.
- Do not use outdoors.
- Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
- Do not place on or near a hot gas or electrical burner or in a heated oven
Parts
LID: For easy filling, cleaning and storage, the lid can be opened with a push of a button.
LID LOCK BUTTON: Locks the lid with the gentle press of the button for secured operation. To remove lid, press button to unlock, the button will rise and can be used as a knob to lift and remove lid.
SPOUT: Large opening for easy pouring.
WATER LEVEL: Always fill kettle with water between the minimum and maximum levels.
POWER ON INDICATOR: The lamp will turn on indicating the kettle is heating and will turn off when heating cycle is complete.
ON/OFF SWITCH: Simply press the lever to begin heating cycle, kettle will automatically turn off when heating cycle is complete.
BASE STATION w/ CORD STORAGE: Allows the kettle to be placed on the base in 360° rotation, giving you the flexibility to position the base anywhere on the counter. Underneath the base station you can wrap the cord for easy storage and adjust the length to meet your needs.
Before using your Water Kettle the first time!
Remove all packing materials from the Kettle and Base Station. Fill kettle with cold water to the maximum level and boil, discard water and repeat. Wipe all surfaces with clean soft towel or sponge.
Operating Instructions
- Unwrap cord and place base station on a sturdy and flat surface.
- Open the kettle lid by pressing the center lid lock button and using it as a knob to lift and remove the lid.
- Fill with cold water up to the desired level between the minimum and maximum levels for the proper functioning and security of the kettle.
- Replace lid and press down the center lid lock button.
- Place kettle onto base station. Connect cord to electrical outlet.
- Gently press the ON/OFF switch downward. The indicator lamp will turn on and the heating cycle will begin.
lamp will turn off indicating the heating cycle is complete. - Lift the kettle by the handle and slowly tilt to pour water from spout into cup.
Care and Cleaning Instructions
- Make sure kettle has cooled.
- Clean the exterior surfaces with clean, damp, soft cloth or sponge.
- Never use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
- Rinse out kettle and gently wipe interior surfaces with lint-free cloth.
- Never try to operate kettle with the lid open. Always close lid.
- Do not leave standing water in the kettle. Always discard unused water and dry interior surfaces when not in use.
- It is normal to see the stainless steel cover of the heater plate at the bottom of the kettle to change color after use.
DECALCIFYING: Boiling water can leave behind harmless, white calcium deposits inside the kettle and mainly on the stainless steel heater cover.
- Use a commercially available de-calcifying agent or add 1 oz. vinegar, fill to minimum level and cycle.
- If the kettle switches off before water is boiling, it probably needs to be de-calcified.
- Frequency of de-calcifying will depend on hardness of water and number of uses.

This warranty does not cover transportation damage, misuse, accident or similar incident. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may have other rights, which vary from state to state appliance comes equipped with numerous safety features. Any attempt to interfere with the operation of these safety features makes this warranty null and void.
