SPECIAL FEATURE
This SHARK product features unique Hydro Pushers®. These pushers can be pressed underwater to a dynamic water pressure (not water depth) of 3ATM.

DISPLAY MODE
The watch has seven display modes: NORMAL TIME, TIDE, CHRONO (Chronograph), TIMER, HEAT TIMER, ALARM, and TIME-2 (Foreign Time). To change from one display mode to another, press the S3 MODE button.

DISPLAY FORMATS IN NORMAL TIME MODE
There are three display formats in the NORMAL TIME mode: DATE/TIME, TIDE/TIME, and BIG TIME. To change from one format to another, press the S1 TIDE button once.

DATE/TIME

TIDE/TIME
In TIDE/TIME format, the time of the next tide will display with the letter A/P representing AM/PM in 12-hour format.

BIG TIME

In the BIG TIME format, there is no AM/PM indication even if the time format is set to 12-hour format. A Shark fin animation will occur once per minute. For even minutes, the fin will move from left to right across the top of the screen and for odd minutes, the fin will move from right to left. NOTE: There are only two display formats in TIME-2 mode: DATE/TIME and TIDE/TIME

TO SET THE NORMAL TIME AND CALENDAR

When setting the time and date, the S1 TIDE button will be used to increase the digit and the S2 RESET button will be used to decrease the digit. Holding down either button will speed up the process.

  1. Press the S3 MODE button until it shows the NORMAL TIME display.
  2. Press and hold the S4 SET button for approximately 4 seconds. The message “SET TIME-1” will be displayed and the year digits will blink. Use the S1 TIDE button and S2 RESET button to increase or decrease the digit.
  3. Press the S3 MODE button, and the month will blink. Use the S1 TIDE button and S2 RESET button to increase or decrease the digit.
  4. Press the S3 MODE button, and the date will blink. Use the S1 TIDE button and S2 RESET button to increase or decrease the digit.
  5. Press the S3 MODE button, and the hour will blink. Use the S1 TIDE button and S2 RESET button to increase or decrease the digit.
  6. Press the S3 MODE button, and the minutes will blink. Use the S1 TIDE button and S2 RESET button to increase or decrease the digit.
  7. Press the S3 MODE button, and the seconds will blink. Use the S1 TIDE button or S2 RESET button to reset the seconds to zero.
  8. Press the S3 MODE button, and the time format setting will blink. Use the S1 TIDE button or S2 RESET button to choose between 12-Hour or 24-Hour format. The AM or PM indicator will be displayed in 12-hour format.
  9. Press the S3 MODE button, and the calendar format will blink. Use the S1 TIDE button or S2 RESET button to choose between MM-DD-YY, DD-MM-YY, or YY-MM-DD formats.
  10. Press the S3 MODE button, and the days of the week language setting will blink. Use the S1 TIDE button or S2 RESET button to choose between English, French, Portuguese, or Spanish.
  11. Press the S3 MODE button, and the hourly chime setting will blink. Use the S1 TIDE button or S2 RESET button to choose between ON or OFF for the hourly chime. A tune will be emitted by the hour when the hourly chime function is activated.
  12. Press the S3 MODE button, and the beep setting will blink. Use the S1 TIDE button or S2 RESET button to choose between ON or OFF for the beep.
  13. Press the S3 MODE button, and the tide height unit setting will blink. Use the S1 TIDE button or S2 RESET button to choose between Meters or Feet.
  14. Press the S4 SET button to confirm.
TO SET THE TIDE MODE
  1. Press the S3 MODE button to select TIDE mode. The corresponding name and number of your favorite beach will be displayed.
  2. After approximately 2 seconds, one of the four data display modes will display, based on the display mode left on during the last browsing via S4 SET button: TIDE STATUS GRAPH, DATA OF NEXT TIDE, SUNRISE TIME, SUNSET TIME.
  3. In any of the four display modes, press and hold the S4 SET button for approximately 4 seconds and the message “SET TIDE LOCATION” will be displayed and the number of your favorite tide location will blink. Use the S1 TIDE button or S2 RESET button to cycle through your favorite tide locations and select a tide location to set.
  4. Press the S3 MODE button and the continent entry will blink. Use S1 TIDE button or S2 RESET button to cycle through the options and select the desired continent.
  5. Press the S3 MODE button and the country entry will blink. Use S1 TIDE button or S2 RESET button to cycle through the options and select the desired country.
  6. Press the S3 MODE button and the regio’s entry will blink. Use S1 TIDE button or S2 RESET button to cycle through the options and select the desired region.
  7. Press the S3 MODE button and the beach entry will blink. Use S1 TIDE button or S2 RESET button to cycle through the options and select the desired beach
  8. Press the S3 MODE button and the DST (Daylight Savings Time) option will blink. Use the S1 TIDE button or S2 RESET button to choose between ON or OFF.

TO USE THE TIDE, SUNRISE, AND SUNSET DATA

  1. Press S3 MODE button to select TIDE mode. The corresponding number and name of your selected favorite tide location will be displayed. NOTE: If you would like to change the favorite tide location to another, press and hold the S4 SET button. Use the S1 TIDE to advance to the tide location you would like. Press the S4 SET button to confirm.
  2. After approximately 2 seconds, one of the four data display modes (TIDE STATUS GRAPH, DATA OF NEXT TIDE, SUNRISE TIME, SUNSET TIME) will be displayed.

  3. To change from one display mode to another, press the S4 SET button.

TIDE STATUS GRAPH

In TIDE STATUS GRAPH mode, press the S1 TIDE button or S2 RESET button to go ahead or back in 30-minute intervals to display the upcoming or previous tide levels. NOTE: The tide status graph will be updated every 30 minutes.

DATA OF NEXT TIDE GRAPH

In DATA OF NEXT TIDE mode, press the S1 TIDE button or S2 RESET button to display the data of the previous tide or the next tide. The time of the next tide will show either A or P representing A.M or P.M in 12-hour format.

SUNRISE TIME

In SUNRISE TIME mode, press the S1 TIDE button or S2 RESET button to display the previous or next sunrise time.

SUNSET TIME

In SUNSET TIME mode, press the S1 TIDE button or S2 RESET button to display the previous or next sunset time. NOTE: If there is no tide data for the date, the message NO TIDE DATA FOR THE DATE will display. NOTE: The time and calendar format will be the same as that of the NORMAL TIME mode. To return to the NORMAL TIME screen, press the S3 MODE button

TO USE THE CHRONOGRAPH
For the measurement of elapsed time

  1. Press the S3 MODE button to select CHRONO mode.
  2. Press the S1 TIDE button to start counting.
  3. Press the S2 RESET button to stop counting. To continue from where it left off, press the S1 TIDE button or to stop counting and return to 00:00.00, press and hold the S2 RESET button.

TO SET THE TIMER

When setting the timer, the S1 TIDE button will be used to increase the digit and the S2 RESET button will be used to decrease the digit. Holding down either button will speed up the process.

  1. Press the S3 MODE button until it shows the TIMER display.
  2. Press and hold the S4 SET button for approximately 4 seconds. The message “SET TIMER” will be displayed and hours digits will blink. Use the S1 TIDE button and S2 RESET button to increase or decrease the digit.
  3. Press the S3 MODE button, the minutes will blink. Use the S1 TIDE button and S2 RESET button to increase or decrease the digit.
  4. Press the S3 MODE button, the seconds will blink. Use the S1 TIDE button and S2 RESET button to increase or decrease the digit.
  5. Press the S3 MODE button, the action-at-end setting will blink. Press the S1 TIDE button or S2 RESET button to select one of the following three options: STOP AT END: the timer will stop when the countdown reaches zero REPEAT AT END: the timer will reload and repeat the countdown when the countdown reaches zero with the repetition number updated. UP AT END: the timer will count up to a maximum of 23 hours, 59 minutes, and 59 seconds when the countdown reaches zero.
  6. Press the S4 SET button to confirm.
TO USE THE TIMER
  1. Press the S3 MODE button until it shows the TIMER display.
  2. Press the S1 TIDE button to start counting down.
  3. To stop the countdown, press the S2 RESET button. Press the S1 TIDE button to resume.
  4. To reload the timer, press the S2 RESET button to stop the counting and then press and hold the S2 RESET button to reset.
  5. When the countdown is complete, the watch will respond according to the action-at-end setting.

STOP AT END:
the timer will stop when the countdown reaches zero. A timer alert tune will be emitted and the backlight will flash.

REPEAT AT END:
the timer will reload and repeat the countdown when the countdown reaches zero with the repetition number updated. If the timer is set for less than 30 seconds, the timer will repeat with a beep generated. If the time is set to be 30 seconds or more, the timer will repeat and a timer alert tune will be emitted and the backlight will flash.

UP AT END:
the timer will count up to a maximum of 23 hours, 59 minutes, and 59 seconds when the countdown reaches zero. A timer alert tune will be emitted and the backlight will flash.

TO SET THE HEAT TIMER

When setting the heat timer, the S1 TIDE button will be used to increase the digit and the S2 RESET button will be used to decrease the digit. Holding down either button will speed up the process.

  1. Press the S3 MODE button until it shows the HEAT TIMER display.
  2. . Press and hold the S4 SET button for approximately 4 seconds. The message “SET HEAT TIMER” will be displayed and minutes digits will blink. Use the S1 TIDE button and S2 RESET button to increase or decrease in increments of 5 minutes.
  3. Press the S4 SET button to confirm.

TO USE THE HEAT TIMER

  1. Press the S3 MODE button until it shows the HEAT TIMER display.
  2. Press the S1 TIDE button to start counting down.
  3. To stop the countdown, press the S2 RESET button. Press the S1 TIDE button to resume.
  4. To reload the heat timer, press the S2 RESET button to stop the counting and then press S2 RESET button to reset.
  5. When the countdown is complete a timer alert tune will be emitted and the backlight will flash.
    NOTE: You can leave the timer running while switching to other modes. The heat timer indicator (graphic) will be displayed on the NORMAL TIME or TIME 2 screen. NOTE: the heat timer is independent of the timer. Both may be running at the same time.

TO SET THE ALARM TIME

  1. Press the S3 MODE button until it shows the ALARM display.
  2. Press and hold the S4 SET button for approximately 4 seconds. The message “SET ALARM” will be displayed and the alarm entry setting will blink. Press the S1 TIDE or S2 RESET button to toggle between ALARM 1 and ALARM 2.
  3. Press the S3 MODE button, the hour will blink (including AM/PM for 12-hour format.) Use the S1 TIDE button and S2 RESET button to increase or decrease the digit.
  4. Press the S3 MODE button, the minutes will blink. Use the S1 TIDE button and S2 RESET button to increase or decrease the digit.
  5. Press the S3 MODE button, the alarm frequency will blink. Use the S1 TIDE button or S2 RESET button to cycle forward or backward through the frequency options (DAILY, WEEKDAYS, WEEKENDS, SUNDAY-SATURDAY WEEKLY.
  6. Press the S4 SET button to confirm. The alarm will automatically be activated after being.

TO TURN ON/OFF THE ALARM

  1. Press the S3 MODE button until it shows the ALARM display.
  2. Press the S1 TIDE button to toggle between ALARM 1 and ALARM 2.
  3. Press the S2 RESET button to turn on the alarm. The alarm frequency setting will appear.
  4. Press the S2 RESET button again to turn off the alarm. The message “OFF” will be displayed.

WHEN THE ALARM GOES OFF
A 20-second alarm tune will be emitted and the backlight will flash. To stop the tune, press any button. If the alarm tune is done without any user interruption, the watch will automatically enter a snooze mode. The alarm will go off one more time after 5 minutes.
