Caution

  • Swallowing the button cell battery can be lethal. Do not store in a place that can be reached by children. If swallowed, please consult your doctor immediately.

Takemichi Hanagaki’s Arrival

Clock Controls

To view the time 
Press the B button while the character is on the screen to open the clock screen. Pressing the B button again will return you to the character display screen.

To adjust the time
Press the B button to transition to the clock screen, then press the A button while the C button is pressed to transition to the clock setting screen. To set the time, please follow the instructions under “Setting the clock” (see “2. Takemichi Hanagaki’s Arrival”).

Turning the sound on and off

Press the A button while the C button is pressed during the character display screen to transition to the sound select screen. Use the A button to select betweenBANDAI-Tokyo-Revengers-Tamagotchi-User-Manual-fig-7

“ON” orBANDAI-Tokyo-Revengers-Tamagotchi-User-Manual-fig-8“OFF” then press the B button to confirm the change. *Please be warned that turning the sound “OFF” will prevent the character call from making a sound.

Changing Batteries

Low batteries may cause the screen to go blank and may lead to control loss. Please replace the batteries when the replace battery icon is displayed.

  1. Remove the battery cover located on the back of the device. ①-1 Use and turn a screwdriver in the direction of the arrow, ①-2 Remove the battery cover.BANDAI-Tokyo-Revengers-Tamagotchi-User-Manual-fig-10
  2. Remove the batteries and replace them with new batteries (2 x LR44 batteries; sold separately) making sure that the and of the batteries are properly set. *Always replace both batteries at the same time.
  3. While making sure the hook of the cover is properly set on the back of the device, turn the screwdriver in the opposite direction as ①-1 to close the cover.

How to take care

Call
When the character calls for you, you will need to take the proper action depending on the state of the character. If you miss a call from the character, press the C button to confirm the character’s status.

Taiyaki

If the character is unhappy, press the A button to open the menu screen, then press the A button to scroll to BANDAI-Tokyo-Revengers-Tamagotchi-User-Manual-fig-12and the B button to confirm, to feed the character a Taiyaki. *You cannot feed the character a Taiyaki when a delinquent is attacking, or if they are pouting

Lights

When the character sleeps, press the A button to open the menu screen, then press the A button to scroll to BANDAI-Tokyo-Revengers-Tamagotchi-User-Manual-fig-14 and the B button to confirm, to turn off the lights. (When the character is sleeping, the only options available are, lights options, clock controls, and sound controls.)

Delinquents Attack

The character will periodically be attacked by delinquents. The delinquents will occupy more of the screen over time. Press the A button to fight off the delinquents before they completely occupy the screen. *You cannot fight off the delinquents while the character is sleeping or pouting.

Mini Game

There are three mini-games. Press the A button to open the Menu, then press the A button to selectBANDAI-Tokyo-Revengers-Tamagotchi-User-Manual-fig-17and the B button to confirm. Choose one of the three games by pressing the A button and the B button to confirm. *You cannot play Mini Games when a delinquent is attacking, or if the character is sleeping or pouting.

Everyday Scene

At certain times, you will be able to see scenes from “Tokyo Revengers”, or depending on what character you are taking care, you might be able to see their future. Within the three minutes these are shown, pressing the A, B, or C button will allow you to see their daily life. *If no button is pressed within three minutes, the screen will return to normal.

Good Bye

If the character is left pouting for a long time or is put in the pouting state too many times, they will leave you. After the character leaves, to start raising another character… Press the A button while pressing the C button. Takemichi Hanagaki will arrive again.

Pouting

If a delinquent is attacking for too long or isn’t taken care of sufficiently, the character will pout. Press the A button to make them happy again. If the character pouts for too long, they will leave. (When the character is pouting, the only options available are clock controls and sound controls.)

Tokyo Manji Gang

Depending on how you take care of 26-year-old Takemichi Hanagaki, you can be introduced to different members of the Tokyo Manji Gang or the Mizo Middle Five!
