IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

• Before use, ensure that all packaging materials are removed and that there is no visible damage to the unit or accessories. When in doubt, do not use the unit and contact customer service.
• Always place the daylight lamp on a flat, level, stable, hard surface.
• Do not immerse the unit into water and do not use it in wet rooms such as a bathroom, laundry room, or pool area.
• Do not use after taking painkillers or drugs or drinking alcohol.
• Keep children away from packaging materials (risk of suffocation).
• Do not cover or store the unit while it is warm.
• Always unplug the power adapter and allow the device to cool down before touching it.
• Do not touch the unit with wet hands while it is plugged in; do not allow any water to be sprayed onto the unit. Operate only when the unit is completely dry.
• Ensure that you only insert and remove the power adapter with dry hands and that you only press the ON/OFF button with dry hands.
• Keep the power cord away from heated objects and flames.
• Protect the unit from strong impacts.
• Do not disconnect the power adapter from the electrical outlet by pulling on the cord.
• Do not use the device in the presence of flammable anesthetic gas connections with air, oxygen or nitrogen oxide.
• This product has no user-serviceable parts; return the product to customer service for any repair or replacement.

Introduction

Why use a daylight lamp?

To Set Up

Remove plastic wrapping and check the device for damage. If you notice any damage, contact customer service at 1-800-536-0366.

1. Place the device on a flat, level, stable, hard surface so that it will be 3.9–7.8 in (10–20 cm) away from you during use.
2. To prevent product damage, only use the supplied power adapter.
3. Insert the round power adapter plug into the Adapter Socket (marked ) on the rear of the Daylight Lamp. Connect the power adapter to a standard 110 VAC electrical outlet.

To Use

1. Remove the Stand from its storage slot.
2. Clip on the Stand to the side of the housing. The orientation/angle of the Daylight Lamp changes depending on where you attach the Stand, which enables you to tailor the angle as desired. The Stand can be attached to either the long or short side.
3. Press the On/Off Button.
4. Sit 3.9–7.8 in (10–20 cm) from the lamp. You can go about your normal activities while using it, such as reading, writing, making telephone calls, etc.

Care and Storage

• Before cleaning the unit, always switch it off, unplug it, and let it cool.
• Do not immerse unit in water or other liquids. Use a slightly damp cloth to clean the device. Do not use abrasive detergents.
• Do not touch the unit with wet hands while it is plugged in; do not allow any water to be sprayed onto the unit. The unit must be operated only when it is completely dry.
• If you are not going to use the device for an extended period of time, disconnect it and store it in a dry place, out of the reach of children.

Warranty

Limited Lifetime Warranty For Original Purchaser Your Beurer daylight lamp, Model TL 30, excluding the battery, is warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for the life of the product under normal conditions of intended use and service. This warranty extends only to the original retail purchaser and does not extend to retailers or subsequent owners. We will, at our option, repair or replace the Beurer daylight lamp, Model TL 30, without additional charge, for any part or parts covered by these written warranties.

No refunds will be given. Repair or replacement is our only responsibility and your only remedy under this written warranty. If replacement parts for defective materials are not available, Beurer reserves the right to make product substitutions in lieu of repair or replacement. For warranty service contact our customer service department at 1-800-536-0366 or at info@beurer.com to provide a description of the problem.

If the problem is deemed to be within the scope of the limited lifetime warranty, you will be asked to mail the product at your cost in its original package with proof of purchase, your name, address, and phone number. If the problem is not deemed to be within the scope of the limited lifetime warranty, we will provide a quotation for repair respectively replacement, and return shipping fee.

This warranty is effective only if the product is purchased and operated in the country in which the product is purchased. A product that requires modifications or adaptation to enable it to operate in any other country than the country for which it was designed, manufactured, approved, and/or authorized, or repair of products damaged by these modifications is not covered under this warranty.
