DEVICE ACTIVATION INSTRUCTIONS

1. Connect the probe.
2. Locate the probe socket on the right side of the thermometer. Insert the probe connector plug into the socket.
3. Power on the thermometer.

APP DOWNLOADING INSTRUCTIONS
Download and install the ProGrade (APP)

1. Ensure your phone is connected to your desired network.
2. Search for “ProGrade” in the Apple Store for IOS systems.
3. Search for “ProGrade” in the Google Play Store for Android systems.

Wi-Fi CONNECTION NOTICE

1. Please ensure your thermometer and phone are close to your router to establish a reliable connection.
2.  After the Wi-Fi Thermometer has been connected to your router, you do not need to pair again. The thermometer and the APP will pair automatically.
   Remark: The automatic connection must be under the same Wi-Fi/SSID and router.

APPLE IOS APP OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

1. Using the cable provided, please charge the unit for 4-5 hours.
2. Openate ProGrade A and click “PAIR” (Pic. 1).
3. Select the name of your router (Wi-Fi/SSID) from the dropdown list and enter your password in the space provided. Note, that if your router does not require a password, please leave this space blank (Pic.2).
4. Click next.
   
   Remark: If you have an 802.11ac router, please ensure you are connecting to the 2.4GHz channel and not the 5GHz channel. This device does not work on 5GHZ networks. Please ensure your Wi-Fi/SSID password is correct.
5. Press the “Wi-Fi AP mode” button located on the back of the unit for 5 seconds until “AP” is displayed on the device. This indicates that the device is in pairing mode.
6. Return to the APP and click “NEXT” (Pic. 3).
7. Click the confirm button on the APP. The APP will now switch to your phone’s settings page automatically (Pic.4).
   
8. In your Wi-Fi settings, select “LivingSmart”. The device and phone should now be connected (Pic.5).
9. Click the back button in the top left corner of the screen to return to the ProGrade APP (Pic.6). _ Remark: If your Wi-Fi settings do not show “LivingSmart”, please choose “other” in the Wi-Fi setting page and enter “LivingSmart” (case sensitive), then join. If you still cannot connect to LivingSmart, please restart the thermometer and start from step 1 or contact us.
   
10. Select ‘NEXT’ button again (Pic.7).
11. After, “Connection Successful” appears on the screen, please click the confirm button (Pic.8). Remark: If your device cannot connect successfully, please check your Wi-Fi/SSID network connection settings.
    
12. Select your (Wi-Fi SSID) (Pic.9).
13. Click the back button in the top left corner of the screen a final time to return to the ProGrade APP (Pic.10).
    
14. Finally, press the Wi-Fi/Pairing button on the back of the unit. 5,4,3,2, 1 will flash on the screen. You will hear a “beep” when ready. (Pic.11).
15. You’re now ready to start cooking! Remark: temperature display speed depends on Wi-Fi speed.
    
    Once you come to this step, the whole Wi-Fi connection process is completed. Welcomed to ProGrade APP Homepage, help your grilling.

Remark:
If the APP does not display the temperature (Pic.12),

1. Please ensure the Wi-Fi/SSID password is correct. Otherwise, the thermometer cannot be connected.
2. Please check if your router is functioning normally.
3. Please ensure your router and thermometer have a reliable connection.
4. Please check if the thermometer’s Wi-Fi icon is displayed. If not, please reboot your router. After check, please pair the thermometer again.

ANDROID APP OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

1. Using the cable provided, please charge the unit for 4-5 hours.
2. Activate Device (See page 4)
3. Open the “ProGrade” APP and click “PAIR” (Pic.1).
4. Select the name of your router (Wi-Fi/SSID) from the dropdown list and enter your password in the space provided. Note, if your router does not require a password, please leave this space blank (Pic.2).
5. Click next.
   
   Remark: If you have an 802.11ac router, please ensure you are connecting to the 2.4GHz channel and not the 5GHz channel. This device does not work on 5GHZ networks. Please ensure your GPS is turned on before you open the ‘ProGrade’ APP. Please ensure your Wi-Fi/SSID password is correct.
6. Press the “Wi-Fi AP mode” button located on the back of the unit for 5 seconds until “AP” is displayed on the device. This indicates it is in pairing mode and is on twice. This indicates that the device is in pairing mode.
7. Return to the APP and click “NEXT” (Pic.3).
8. Click “OK” on the Wi-Fi settings page(Pic4).
   
9. In your Wi-Fi settings, select “LivingSmart”. The device and phone should now be connected (Pic.5).
10. Click the back button in the lower left or right corner of the screen to return to the ProGrade APP (Pic. 6). Remark: If your Wi-Fi settings do not show “LivingSmart”, please choose “other” in the Wi-Fi setting page and enter “LivingSmart” (case sensitive), then join. If you still cannot connect to LivingSmart, please restart the thermometer and start from step 1 or contact us.
    
11. Select “NEXT” (Pic.7).
12. Finally, press the Wi-Fi/Pairing button on the back of the unit. 5,4,3,2, 1 will flash on the screen. You will hear a “beep” when ready. . Remark: If the device cannot be connected successfully in this step, please ensure your Wi-Fi/SSID is your router SSID rather than “LivingSmart”.
    
13. The APP will switch to the main screen. The current temperature will be displayed within 10 sec (Pic.8).
14. You’re now ready to start cooking! , Remark: temperature display speed depends on Wi-Fi speed.

Remark:
If the APP does not display the temperature (Pic.9),

1. Please ensure the Wi-Fi/SSID password is correct. Otherwise, the thermometer cannot be connected
2. Please check if your router is functioning normally.
3. Please ensure your router and thermometer have a reliable connection.
4. Please check if the thermometer’s Wi-Fi icon is displayed. If not, please reboot your router and your thermometer. After check, please pair the thermometer again.
