You can use the Apple World Travel Adapter Kit in most countries and regions. To charge iPod or iPhone:

Choose the correct plug adapter for the country or region you’re in (see the illustrations on the next page), and connect it to the included power adapter.
Connect the USB cable to the power adapter, extend the electrical prongs (if necessary), and plug the power adapter into a power outlet.
Connect the iPod or iPhone to the other end of the cable. You can also connect the cable to an iPod or iPhone dock, and you can use the cable to sync your iPod or iPhone with your computer.

To use with compatible Mac power adapters or AirPort Express:

Choose the correct plug adapter for the country or region you’re in (see the illustrations on the next page), and connect it to the power adapter or AirPort Express.
Extend the electrical prongs (if necessary), and plug the power adapter or AirPort Express into a power outlet.

Use plug adapters only with Apple power adapters.
Use the correct plug adapter for the country or region you’re in. See the illustrations above.
Never force the AC plug adapter into a power outlet. If the plug adapter and socket don’t join with reasonable ease, they probably don’t match.
When connecting or disconnecting your power adapter, always hold the power adapter by its sides. Keep your fingers away from the AC blades or pins.
Always leave space around your power adapter to allow airflow to cool the adapter.
Don’t use your power adapter in wet locations, such as near washbasins, bathtubs, shower stalls, and so on.
The power adapter and plug adapters are high-voltage components and should not be opened for any reason.
If the power adapter or plug adapter appears to be damaged, discontinue use immediately.
