Download the Ecobee app and Set Up an Account

Choose ‘Add a device’ from the Home Screen

Optional: Install The Ecobee Trim Plate

Install the Base Plate

Reconnect Wires to the New Thermostat
Connect the specified wires to the baseplate’s proper wire terminals, then attach the thermostat faceplate. This step does not require any additional hardware; the faceplate should just be pressed into place.
Turn back on your HVAC system
Now it’s time to switch the electricity back on. Your thermostat’s display should light up and read “Hi.”
Configure the Thermostat
