BATTERY
Installing Batteries
- Please read th s manual carefully.
- Press the top of the battery cover, sl de t back, and l ft the cover as shown below.
- To replace batter es, open the battery cover, replace alkal ne batter es (1.5 V, AA) match ng+and-ends to the label ns de the compartment, and close the battery cover. Be sure to po nt the remote control at the remote control sensor on the TV.
- To remove the batter es, perform the nstallat on act ons n reverse. Don’t m x old or used batter es w th new ones. Close the cover securely.
- Open the battery cover to find the label.
Precautions
- After replacement of the batter es, pa r the remote control and use t n accordance w th user manual.
- If the un t does not operate after replacement of batter es, reattempt pa r ng n accordance w th the user manual.
- If the remote controller s not be ng used for prolonged per od of t me, remove the batter es from the un t.
- Do not d smantle or expose the batter es to heat.
- Do not drop or exert extreme mpact on the batter es. Th s may cause the case to be damaged.
- Do not mmerse the batter es n water.
- There s danger of explos on f batter es are nserted ncorrectly.
- Properly d spose of used batter es.
- Fa lure to match the correct polar t es of the battery may cause the battery to burst or leak, result ng n f re, personal njury, or amb ent pollut on.

Turns the TV on or off.

You can turn your set-top box on or off by add ng the set-top box to the un versal remote control for your TV.

QUICK ACCESS

Accesses the Home menu.
STB Menu
D splays the set-top box Home menu. (When you are not watch ng v a a settop box: the d splay changes to the set-top box screen.)
Wheel (OK)
Press the center of theWheel (OK) button to select a menu. You can change channels or programmes by us ng theWheel (OK) button.
(up/down/left/right)
Press the up, down, left, or r ght button to scroll the menu. If you pressbuttons wh le the po nter s n use, the po nter w ll d sappear from the screen and the Mag c Remote w ll operate l ke a general remote control. To d splay the po nter on the screen aga n, shake the Mag c Remote to the left and r ght.
(INPUT)
Changes the nput source. D splays a l st of all the external nputs.
Streaming Service buttons
Connects to the V deo Stream ng Service.

Accesses the Quick Settings.
Coloured buttons
These access spec al funct ons n some menus. Red Button*: Runs the record funct on. (Depend ng on country)

How to register (pair) or deregister (unpair)
How to register (pair) the Magic Remote
To use the Mag c Remote, f rst pa r t w th your TV.
- Put batter es nto the Mag c Remote and turn the TV on.
- Po nt the Mag c Remote at your TV and press the Wheel (OK) on the remote control.
- If the TV fa ls to reg ster the Mag c Remote, try aga n after turn ng the TV off and back on.
How to use
- Shake the Mag c Remote sl ghtly to the r ght and left or press (HOME), (INPUT), or (Q. Settings) buttons to make the po nter appear on the screen. ( n some TV models, the po nter w ll appear when you turn the Wheel (OK) button.)
- f the po nter has not been used for a certa n per od of t me or Mag c Remote s placed on a flat surface, then the po nter w ll d sappear.
- f the po nter s not respond ng smoothly, you can reset the po nter by mov ng t to the edge of the screen.
- The Mag c Remote depletes batter es faster than a normal remote due to the add t onal features.
PRECAUTIONS TO TAKE
- Use the remote control w th n the spec f ed range (w th n 10 m). You may exper ence commun cat on fa lures when us ng the dev ce outs de the coverage area or f there are obstacles w th n the coverage area.
- You may exper ence commun cat on fa lures depend ng on the accessor es. Dev ces such as a m crowave oven and w reless LAN operate n the same frequency band (2.4 GHz) as the Mag c Remote. Th s may cause commun cat on fa lures.
- The Mag c Remote may not work properly f a w reless router (AP) s w th n 0.2 m of the TV. Your w reless router should be more than 0.2 m away from the TV.
- Do not d sassemble or heat the batter es.
- Do not drop the battery. Avo d extreme shocks to the battery.
