Observe all safety instructions to avoid damage through improper use! Keep this instruction manual for future use. Should this product be passed on to a third party, then this instruction manual must be included.

• No liability will be accepted for damage resulting from improper use or non-compliance with these instructions.
• Before connecting the appliance to the power supply, check that the power supply voltage and current rating corresponds with the power supply details shown on the appliance rating label.
• This product contains no user serviceable parts and requires little maintenance. Leave any servicing or repairs to qualified personnel only.
• Never use a damaged appliance! Disconnect the appliance from the electrical outlet and contact your retailer if it is damaged. DANGER Danger of electric shock! Do not attempt to repair the appliance yourself. In case of malfunction, repairs are to be conducted by qualified personnel only.
• To avoid damaging the cord, do not squeeze, bend or chafe it on sharp edges. Keep it away from hot surfaces and open flames as well.
• Lay out the cord in such a way that no unintentional pulling or tripping over it is possible. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children.
• If an extension cord is used, its capacity needs to be suitable for the power consumed by the appliance.

WARNING During cleaning or operation do not immerse the electrical parts of the appliance in water or other liquids. Never hold the appliance under running water.

• Do not operate the appliance with wet hands or while standing on a wet floor. Do not touch the power plug with wet hands.
• Do not open the appliance casing under any circumstances. Do not insert any foreign objects into the inside of the casing.
• Never use accessories which are not recommended by the manufacturer. They could pose a safety risk to the user and might damage the appliance. Only use original parts and accessories.
• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
• Regularly check the power plug and power cord for damage. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
• Do not pull the power plug out of the electrical outlet by the power cord and do not wrap the power cord around the appliance.
• Disconnect the power plug from the electrical outlet when not in use, before any maintenance and before cleaning.
• This product is classified as protection class II. This means the product is equipped with reinforced or double insulation between the mains supply circuit and the output voltage or the casing. Therefore it does not require a safety connection to an electrical earth (ground).
• Never operate the appliance with any air openings blocked. Keep ventilation openings free from the accumulation of lint, dust, and loose cloth.

Vacuum Cleaner Warnings

• Before vacuuming, remove any large, sharp or sharp edged objects to avoid damage to the filters and / or appliance.
• Do not vacuum any hot or incandescent objects, liquids, chemicals or flammable materials.
• Never use the vacuum cleaner without filter inserts. The appliance may be damaged.

Intended Use

• This appliance is only intended for vacuuming of dust, lint and general dirt on soft and hard surfaces. Do not use it for vacuuming ashes, sharp objects e.g. glass or to suck up liquids or other flammable substances.
• The appliance is intended for private indoor use only.
• Use the appliance only as described in this manual.
• No liability will be accepted for damage resulting from improper use or noncompliance with this manual.

Before First Use

• Carefully remove all packaging materials and retain for future use.
• Check for transport damages.
• Clean the appliance ( Cleaning and Maintenance).
• Check whether the dust bag is correctly in place ( Cleaning and Maintenance).

WARNING Danger of suffocation! Children should not play with the packaging materials, as they pose a risk of swallowing and suffocation!

Assembly

• Insert the flexible hose into the hose intake at the front of the appliance.
• Press the hose connector and turn it clockwise till it is locked securely.

• Insert the handle of flexible hose into the extension metal tube .

• Push the tube release switch while pulling out the bottom part of the extension metal tube to adjust the length.

• Insert the extension metal tube into the connector of the hard floor brush (or other attachment as needed).

Operation

• Pull out the power cord .
• Connect the power plug to an electrical outlet.

• Set the power suction control to MIN.
• Press the on/off button to power on the appliance.

• Use the power suction control on the main unit or flexible hose handle / to increase/decrease suction power.

• After cleaning has been completed, press the on/off button to power off the appliance.
• Then press the cable winder switch to roll back the power cable.

NOTICE Hold the power cable with one hand and slowly accompany it while it is being rolled back into storage.

Cleaning and Maintenance

WARNING Always disconnect the power plug from the electrical outlet before cleaning or storing.

Cleaning

• Remove any accessory attached to the extension metal tube or flexible hose .
• Clean the appliance and accessories with a slightly moistened cloth. Do not allow any liquid enter the appliance’s interior.
• Never use corrosive detergents, wire brushes, abrasive scourers, metal or sharp utensils to clean the appliance or accessories.
• Carefully dry the appliance and accessories after cleaning.

Replacing the Dust Bag

NOTICE When the dust bag full indicator turns red, the dust bag must be replaced.

• Open the front cover.
• Remove the dust bag from its holder and remove it from the dust bag compartment.
• Paper dust bag (Disposable)
• Dispose of the old bag.
• Replace with a new one (provided) of the same type.
• Fabric dust bag (Not disposable)
• Empty to a plastic bag or a trash bin.
• Put it back in place.

NOTICE Fabric dust bags (provided) can also be purchased separately.

Compatible with the following dustbags: AmazonBasics W11, Swirl Y101, Menalux 4000 and more.

Cleaning the Motor Filter

• Open the front cover and remove the dust bag.
• Pull the motor filter with its cover upwards to remove them.
• Pull the filter out of the frame.
• Rinse the filter with tap water to remove dust build-up and other residue.
• Let the filter dry. Do not expose it to direct sunlight.
• Place the filter back into the cover and slide it back in.

Cleaning the HEPA Filter

• Lift the exhaust grid to remove it.
• Take out the HEPA filter .
• Rinse the filter under cold water.
• Dry it afterwards.
• Refit it to its original position.
• Reinstall the exhaust grid until it clicks in place.

NOTICE Never use the appliance without filters installed. This can cause power loss or damage to the appliance.

Troubleshooting

Problem Solution

• The appliance does not start.
• Connect the power plug properly.
• Check if the electrical outlet is powered.
• Check if the on/off switch is on. Weak suction power.
• Check if the flexible hose, extension tube or any of the accessories are obstructed.
• Remove and clean the filters. Motor is abnormally noisy.
• Stop using the appliance immediately.
• Check if the hose, tube or any of the accessories are obstructed.
• Remove the obstruction.
• If the noise continues, power off the appliance and disconnect the power plug.
• Contact your service agents.
