Big Red Rooster® Sound Machine:
- Power Button: Press the power button to turn the unit ON. A green light will illuminate when ON. Press the power button a second time to turn the unit OFF. The green light will be OFF when the unit is OFF.
- Sounds: Press one of the six (6) sound buttons. To change the sound press a different sound button. Unit will default to the last sound used.
- Volume: Press the volume down or volume up button to reach desired volume level. Unit will default to the last volume setting.
- Timer: The sound machine can be set to automatically turn OFF in 15, 30 or 60 minutes. When the sound machine is ON press the timer button once for 15 minutes, a second time for 30 minutes, a third time for 60 minutes and a fourth time to turn the timer OFF. A green light will show the timer setting. If the green light is OFF the timer is OFF.
POWER CORD:
Plug the adaptor (Fig. 4) into the adaptor plug on the back of the sound machine (Fig. 3). Plug the adaptor into your household electrical outlet. Only use the adaptor provided with this sound machine. Using any other adaptor will void the warranty. The sound machine will draw power from the adaptor prior to drawing power from the batteries.
BATTERIES:
INSERTING / REPLACING THE BATTERIES
- Remove battery compartment cover.
- Remove old batteries (if replacing batteries).
- Insert three (3) new AA batteries (not included)
- Make sure to follow the battery polarity guide when installing new batteries (Fig. 5).
- Replace battery compartment cover.
CARE/MAINTENANCE:
- Store unit in a cool, dry place.
- Before cleaning, unplug sound machine from outlet (if using adaptor) or remove batteries.
- Clean sound machine with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Never use liquids or abrasive cleaners. Do not immerse in any liquid to clean.
WARNING:
- Do not place speaker close to ears. May cause hearing damage.
- Do not place or store this product where it can fall or be pulled into a tub or sink. Do not reach for an appliance that has fallen into water. Unplug it immediately.
- Do not place or drop in water or any other liquid. Do not use on a wet surface.
- This product is not a toy and is not intended for use or play by child. Do not place unit or cord within your child’s reach. For adult use only.
- Do not leave product unattended when in use
BATTERY PRECAUTIONS:
- Use only the size and type of batteries specified.
- Always purchase the correct size and grade of battery most suitable for the intended use.
- Be sure to follow the correct polarity when installing the batteries as indicated in the battery compartment.
Reversed batteries may cause damage to the device. - Do not mix alkaline, standard (Carbon-Zinc), or rechargeable (Nickel Cadmium) batteries.
- Replace all batteries of a set at the same time. Do not mix old and new batteries.
- Clean the battery contacts and also those of the device prior to battery installation.
- Do not dispose of batteries in fire.
- Remove batteries if consumed or if product is to be left unused for an extended period of time
