INTRODUCTION
Thank you for choosing this cooker hood. This instruction manual is designed to provide you with all required instructions related to the installation, use, and maintenance of the appliance. To operate the unit correctly and safely, please read this instruction manual carefully before installation and usage.
SAFETY PRECAUTION
- This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be done by children without supervision.
- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent, or similarly qualified persons to avoid a hazard.
- The instructions shall state the substance of the following:
- there shall be adequate ventilation of the room when the range hood is used at the same time as appliances burning gas or other fuels (not applicable to appliances that only discharge the air back into the room);
- the details concerning the method and frequency of cleaning;
- there is a fire risk if cleaning is not carried out following the instructions
- do not flambé under the range hood;
- CAUTION: Accessible parts may become hot when used with cooking appliances.
The installation instructions shall include the substance of the following:
- the air must not be discharged into a flue that is used for exhausting fumes from appliances burning gas or other fuels (not applicable to appliances that only discharge the air back into the room);
- the minimum distance between the supporting surface for the cooking vessels on the hob and the lowest part of the range hood. (When the range hood is located above a gas appliance, this distance shall be at least 65 cm.
- regulations concerning the discharge of air have to be fulfilled.
- The installation instructions for range hoods with accessible metallic enclosures of class II construction shall include details that indicate the location and maximum permitted lengths for any fixing or mounting screw or other fixing device that penetrates the range hood to attach an accessory such as a facia or duct fitting.
- Where fixing or mounting screws, or other fixing devices are used, that penetrate the range hood with an accessible metallic enclosure of class II construction, to attach an accessory, the instructions shall indicate the required location of these screws or fixing devices and include the substance of the following warning.
- Warning: Failure to install the screws or fix the device following these instructions may result in electrical hazards.
- For safety reasons, please use only the same size of fixing or mounting screw which is recommended in this instruction manual.

Installation instructions
The cooker hoods should be placed at a distance of 65-75cm from the cooking surface for best effect. (See Pic 1)
Way one: (See Pic 2A)
To install onto the wall drill 4 holes of Ø8mm in a suitable place according to the center distance of the hole in the back of the cooker hood.
- Insert the wall plugs into the holes.
- Insert the screws into the wall plugs and tighten the screws.
- Put up the cooker hood onto the fixed screws.
- Put the one air outlet and extensible pipe onto the cooker hood. (the extensible pipe is optional not supplied)
Way two: (See Pic 2B)
Drill 6 holes of 4mm diameter at the bottom of the hanging cupboard. Put the air outlet on the cooker hood, then install the cooker hood on the bottom of the cupboard, and tighten the hood with enclosed 6 screws. Install the adjusted board on the bottom of the hood to keep out the gap between the hood back and the cupboard.
- For safety reasons, please use only the same size of fixing or mounting screw which is recommended in this instruction manual.

OPERATION
- Connect the plug to the power.
- Push the switch ①into “ ”, and the lamp be on; push into “0”, and the lamp be off.
- Push the switch ②into “I、II”, and the motor will be on “low、high” two speeds, push into “0”, and the motor will be off.
- The cooker hood will work at low or high speed when pulling out the front panel.
USE AND MAINTENANCE
- It is recommended to operate the appliance before cooking.
- There shall be adequate ventilation in the room when the cooker hood is used at the same time as appliances burning gas or other fuels(not applicable to appliances that only discharge the air back into the room.
- It is recommended to leave the appliance in operation for 15 minutes after cooking is terminated to eliminate cooking vapors and odors.
- If the appliance is not used, please turn it off.
- Don’t have flame under the cooker hood.
- Don’t use or stop use if the appliance is damaged especially the supply cord and the case.
- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent, or similarly qualified persons to avoid a hazard.
- Don’t immerse the appliance in liquid.
- The exhaust air must not be discharged into a flue which is used for exhausting fumes from appliances burning gas or other fuels.
- Regulations concerning the discharge of air have to be fulfilled.
- The details concerning the method and frequency of cleaning.
- In order to prevent fire hazard, it is recommendable to clean the filter at a maximum of 2 months by carrying out the followings: -Unplug before cleaning, then remove the filters from the cooker hood and wash them in a solution of water and neutral liquid detergent, leaving to soak. -Rinse thoroughly with warm water and leave to dry. -The filters may also be washed in the dishwasher.
- The aluminum panels may alter in color after several washes. This is not cause for customer complaints or replacement of panels.
- Clean the surface of the cooker hood regularly using a cloth moistened with denatured alcohol or nonabrasive liquid detergent. (Remark: There can not clear the motor and inside part.)
- Replace filters approximately every 4 months.
- There is a fire risk if cleaning is not carried out according to the instructions.

Carbon filter (not supplied)
Carbon filters can be used to trap odors. Normally the activated carbon filter should be changed at three or six months according to your cooking habit. Activated carbon filters cannot be washed or recycled. The installation procedure of the activated carbon filter is as below. -Slide the front part of the cooker hood.
To install the activated carbon filter, the Al anti-grease filter should be detached first. Press the lock and pull it downward. – Put the activated carbon filter into the unit and turn it in the anti-clockwise direction. Repeat the same on the other side. Put back to the grease filter back in position. Note: When the activated carbon filter is installed, the suction power will be lowered.
Troubleshooting

Note:
- a. To reduce the environmental impact (e.g. energy use) of the cooking process, please be sure that your product is installed according to the user manual, keep the operation place ventilated, keep the extraction duct be direct and short as possible as it can be.
- b. For the product with manual operation mode, we suggest switching the motor off within 10 minutes after finishing the cooking process.
- c. Please be sure to dismantle related components according to the user manual when maintaining for non-destructive, protect the parts to make the re-installed work can be favoring and avoid damage.
