Connecting an additional wired sub to your Cinema 800 sound bar will NOT mute the included wireless sub if connected. If you wish to replace the included wireless sub with a wired sub, be sure to disconnect the included wireless sub from AC power.

The Cinema 800 comes equipped with several user selectable playback modes. Depending on which playback mode the user has selected, the Cinema 800 will decode the surround sound signal. The following chart shows which playback modes will result in which type of surround sound from the Cinema 800, along with the recommended uses for each mode.
