Identifying the Parts

  1. BUTTON: Press this button to arm the system.
  2. BUTTON: Press and hold this button for 3 seconds to send a panic signal, regardless of system status (armed or disarmed) to the Control Panel. Ensure to press the button for 3 seconds, or the activation will fail.
  3. BUTTON: Press this button will arm the system in home mode.
  4. BUTTON: Press this button to disarm the system. When the alarm is sounding, press this button to stop the alarm (except when the alarm is triggered by pressing the Remote Controller’s Button.
  5. TX/RX LED INDICATOR flashes:
    • TX Red LED quick flash 6 times
    • Remote Controller received acknowledgement from Control Panel with system fault condition.
    • TX Red LED slow flash 6 times
    • Remote Controller fails to receive acknowledgment from Control Panel. Remote Controller will send signal again.
    • TX Red LED slow flash for 10 times (x2)
    • Remote Controller fails to receive acknowledgement twice from the Control Panel when a panic signal is sent. The Remote Controller will send signal again. If the Remote Controller still fails to receive acknowledgement after two failed attempts, the Red LED will turn to flash 6 times.
    • RX Green LED flashes
    • When the Remote Controller successfully receives acknowledgment from the Control Panel.
  6. BATTERY COMPARTMENT: The RC-15 uses one “CR2032” 3V Lithium battery as its power source. The low battery status will be sent to the Control Panel along with regular signal transmission, and the Control Panel will display the status accordingly.

Getting Started

  • Step 1: Remove the battery cover by using a coin to turn it counter-clockwise.
  • Step 2: Insert one CR2032 battery into the compartment with the positive side (+) facing upwards.
  • Step 3: Replace the battery cover.
  • Step 4: Secure the cover by using a coin to turn it clockwise.
  • Step 5: Refer to the Control Panel manual for detail and put the Control Panel into learning mode and complete the learn-in process.
