§Actual distance range will vary with network conditions and environmental factors, including volume of network traffic, radio interference, building materials and construction, and network overhead, lower actual wireless transmission range. To achieve optimal wireless transmission quality, a variable maximum range of 5-10 meters is recommended for different environments.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

1. Make sure to turn OFF the light switch before fixing the Pulse Solo.
2. Screw the Pulse Solo into a standard (E26) bulb socket. CAUTION: Never use with external or outside dimmers.
3. Switch on the power. The LED will light up with a ‘ping’ sound generated by the bulb. NOTE: The sound level generated by the bulb is affected by the installation location in the lighting fixture, other sounds, noises room size, etc. For best sound effects, ensure that the LED lens cover is the same level as the lighting fixtures (horizontally) and should not be used in fully enclosed lighting fittings.
4. Turn on Bluetooth on a portable smart device (like a smartphone, tablet, or laptop). Using the smart device Bluetooth, connect with the Pulse Solo bulb. The default bulb ID is ‘Pulse Solo CO1-A66’. Once the connection is established, the bulb will generate a ‘ping’ sound. Now Users can launch any media application and enjoy music via Pulse Solo light speakers. For more precise and effective control of light and speakers, please go to step 5 to download and install the Pulse mobile App.
5. Search for ‘Sengled Pulse’ or ‘Pulse by Sengled’App for the required installation platform. Download and install it on a portable smart device. For Android devices, the App can be found in the Google Play Store. (Compatibility: Requires Android 4.3 or later versions, also the devices support BLE 4.0). For Apple devices operating on iOS, the App can be found on the Apple Store. (Compatibility: Requires iOS 7.0 or later versions. 6. Open the application, a welcome page will appear. Click Ok. The App itself will search and link to the last connected Bluetooth Pulse Solo bulb. The wizard guides you through the steps for connecting the portable smart device with the Pulse Solo bulb. If the application fails to detect the Pulse Solo bulb, restart the application and set the wizard again. NOTE: If there are more than 2 Pulse Solo bulbs around, the desired or preferred bulb to link with can be selected from the welcome page.
7. Once the connection between the portable device and the Pulse Solo bulb is established successfully, the main control screen of the application will appear. There, the brightness control wheel can be rotated to dim the LED lights. Volume adjustments can also be made in the Sound tab.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

• This Product is intended for indoor use only.
• Do NOT use this product outdoors.
• Do NOT get this product wet and do NOT use it near any water source.
• The product should not be exposed to dripping or splashing liquids of any kind.
• Do not install the product near any heat sources, such as heaters, radiators, stoves, heat registers, or other apparatus that produce heat.
• Ensure that the product is stable and secured in place during installation. If the product is dropped or falls out of the light socket, it may cause bodily harm.
• If the product is dropped or falls out of the light socket, it may be damaged. Please check the product for any visible damage.
• To reduce the risk of electric shock, do NOT remove the back cover or take it apart. There are no serviceable parts inside.
• To prevent product failure, the bulb should only be installed in operating environments ranging between -4 degrees Fahrenheit and +95 degrees Fahrenheit (-20 degrees Celsius and +35 degrees Celsius).
• Never push any objects into the openings or slots on the product. Doing so may create an electric shock or fire hazard.
• Maintain sufficient distance around your product for sufficient ventilation; do not put anything within at least 6 inches of the light bulb socket.
• For best protection against lightning, unscrew the product from its power source during a storm.
• Only use accessories specifically recommended by the manufacturer.
• Refer all servicing to a qualified Sengled service technician.
• Servicing is required when the product:
  1. Has been damaged in any way;
  2. Liquid has been spilled on the product;
  3. Objects have fallen into the product;
  4. The product has been exposed to rain or moisture;
  5. The product does not operate normally or has been granted.
• Repairs must be performed by a qualified Sengled technician.
• For bulbs with a weight significantly higher than the bulbs for which they are a replacement, the increased weight may reduce the mechanical stability of certain luminaires and bulb holders and this may impair contact and bulb retention. Check all sockets and bulb holders frequently and make sure they are secure and stable.
• The bulb can be hot and should not be touched without taking care.
