SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
General
- Please follow the national as well as the local regulations when using this product.
- This product is only to be used with the designated fuel; Bio-Ethanol with a minimum alcohol percentage of 95%.
- If the ventilation is sufficient, the use of multiple similar products is allowed if the total fuel flow does not exceed 0,5 l/h.
- This product is only to be used for household purposes and for the purpose it is made for.
- This product is only to be used on a stable, level surface.
- This product is designed for table use.
- This product is not suitable for continuous operation.
- This product is not to be used as a heating appliance.
- This product is not to be used in a windy area.
ASSEMBLY
- Mount the glass onto the metal frame with the screws.
- Put the burner into the metal frame.
- Make sure the product is placed on a stable and level surface.
- The surface must support a minimum of 10 kg. If it cannot support 10 kg, additional support is required.
Adding the Bio-Ethanol
- Do not take out the fiber.
- Use a funnel to pour the Bio-Ethanol into the burner.
Igniting the Bio-Ethanol
- Ignite the burner, but be aware, deflagration or darting flames may occur. Keep a safe distance from the product.
- The product can only be used in rooms of adequate size.
- Make sure that the product is not situated on heat-sensitive or flammable bases and that no accumulation of heat can occur on ceilings and walls.
- Please keep minimum distance of 1 meter away from any burnable material and objects.
Extinguishing the Bio-Ethanol
This is the safest way to extinguish the product and it could avoid the smell of alcohol spreading in the room.
- Place the fire killer directly on top of the burner opening in order to extinguish the fire.
- Leave the burner opening closed and wait for the product to cool down; let it cool down for at least 30 minutes.
- Dispose of the Bio-Ethanol, which is still in the burner. When disposing it, do not use wastewater ways but dispose of it at a collection point for hazardous substances.
Adding more Bio-Ethanol
- Refill the burner (as described in the paragraph “Adding the Bio-Ethanol”)
- Ignite the Bio-Ethanol (as described in the paragraph “Igniting the Bio- Ethanol”).
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
- This product has to be to cooled down before cleaning or storing it.
- Do not clean the product by using any aggressive abrasives, caustic chemicals or solvents.
- Ensure that no more Bio-Ethanol is present in the burner and no Bio- Ethanol is spilled on parts of the product or in the surrounding area before cleaning it.
- Use a soft, slightly wetted cloth and if applicable, a small amount of mild cleaner to clean the surfaces of the product and its accessories.
- Use warm water and a small amount of detergent to clean the burner regularly.
STORAGE
- If you want to store the product, make sure that the product and its accessories have cooled down and the Bio-Ethanol is used up completely. If the Bio-Ethanol isn’t used up completely, dispose of the Bio-Ethanol at a
collection point for hazardous substances. - This product is to be stored in a clean, dry environment.
- Always store the Bio-Ethanol in a sealed and designated container.
- As the Bio-Ethanol is high flammability, the place of storage must be cool, not exposed to direct sunlight, and away from intense heat sources or open flames. Do not store quantities above 5 liters of Bio-Ethanol in your home.
