AMPERE Expandable UV Sanitizer and Wireless Charger Guide
WELCOME MESSAGE FROM AMPERE
Thank you for purchasing Cell! First and foremost, we designed Cells to be functional. The unique design allows you to expand it to sanitize, compress it for portability – or pop up only one side for a convenient phone stand. It’s the perfect accessory to keep on your desk, countertop, kitchen, or bedroom. The four cutting-edge 270-280 NM UV LEDs can remove 99.9% of bacteria and viruses in just one minute! But, even if it wasn’t a UV sanitizer, it would still be your go-to wireless charging station, with two 15W wireless charging coils. Follow the following instructions and please reach out to us if you have any questions or comments. We love hearing from you.
INSTRUCTIONS
SANITIZING
- To use Cell’s UV sanitization function, first expand it completely (hint: remove the base to make expansion easier).
- Connect the Cell to a power outlet via the USB-C input port. The cell works with standard USB-C power in addition to USB-C PD. When plugged in, the indicator light will flash 3 times.
- Place the base on a flat surface and place your items on the metallic surface, leaving some space between the items and the edge. Replace the lid and check to make sure it is closed securely on all sides. The cell has a safety mechanism built that will disable the LEDs if tilted during the sanitization process.
- Press the power button once to begin a short sanitization process (1 min.). During the sanitization process, the indicator light will pulse green. After 1 minute, the button will turn off again, indicating the end of the disinfection process. The top surface of your device is 99.9% bacteria-free (from our testing). For more peace of mind, Cell also has a “long” sanitization process of 5 minutes. To activate the long process, press and hold the power button for 3 seconds.
- Open the lid and remove your disinfected items.
WIRED CHARGING
- The input port is dedicated to input only and the output port is dedicated to output only. If the Cell is not working, check the ports to ensure they are plugged properly.
- The USB-C output on the Cell is 10W. It is capable of charging and powering smaller electronic devices, like phones, but is not compatible with computers or tablets.
- If using both wired and wireless charging, charging speeds may be reduced.
WIRELESS CHARGING
- Plug in the Cell, making sure to use the input port. After the indicator light blinks, the wireless charging surface is active.
- Adjust the silicone to your desired position. If using the horizontal stand position, press out the silicone phone stand on your preferred side.
- Place a Qi-enabled wireless charging device on the top of the Cell to begin charging. Cells can wirelessly charge one device at a time. While wireless charging, the wireless charging indicator light will turn blue. If the foreign object detection is triggered, the wireless charging indicator light will flash red.
NOTES
- Do not put any liquid or food into the disinfection box.
- Do not submerge the Cell in water/liquid. Do not attempt to wash it with water/liquid. Keep it away from wet, humid, or moist environments.
- Direct exposure of high-intensity UV lights to the human body may cause skin irritation. While UV lights are activated, if the sterilizer is tilted more than 45 degrees, the UV lights will automatically turn off.
- When not in use, unplug and compress completely into a flat position.
