Operation Instruction
Action Button Operation
Temperature and Humidity Monitor (Receiver)
CH/R Button:
- Press it to switch between the channels (CH1, CH2, CH3, CH8), the screen will display the measured temperature of the chosen channel (CH1, CH2, CH3). If CH8 is selected, the measured temperature of CH1, CH2, and CH3 will be displayed alternately for 3 seconds.
- Press and hold it for 5 seconds to reset the registration of all pool thermometers (transmitters). We should place the pool thermometer close to the indoor monitor and let the pool thermometer transmit data once so that they can reconnect again and complete the registration.
℃/℉ Button:
- In the normal mode, press it to switch the temperature unit between ℃ and ℉.
- In the mode of displaying maximum/minimum values (press the MAX/MIN button to enter the display mode of maximum/minimum values), press the ℃/℉ button to switch the recording interval of maximum/minimum values between ALL-TIME and 24 hours.
Pool Thermometer (Transmitter)
Unscrew the cover of the pool thermometer, as shown below.
TX/CF Button:
- Press it to transmit the detected temperature from the pool thermometer to the temperature and humidity monitor and light up the indicator once.
- Press and hold it for more than 5 seconds to switch the temperature unit between ℃ and ℉ on the pool thermometer.
Add Sub-Devices
- a.Firstly, make sure the batteries of the temperature and humidity monitor (receiver) are installed correctly and working properly.
- b.Secondly, install the batteries of the pool thermometer (transmitter) properly, and place the thermometer as close to the temperature and humidity monitor (receiver) as possible.
- c.Once the temperature and humidity monitor (receiver) receives the data sent from the pool thermometer (transmitter), the
the connection between them is established automatically, and the monitor (receiver) completes adding a sub-device and
displays the channel number of the pool thermometer (transmitter).
Note: If you fail to add sub-devices, please remove the batteries of the pool thermometer (transmitter), and repeat steps b~c
to add the device.
Battery Installation of Pool Thermometer (Transmitter)
Unscrew the lid of the pool thermometer as shown below.
Remove the battery cover, install 2 AAA batteries, and put the cover back.
Make sure the silicone waterproof ring is well placed, then close and tighten the lid of the pool thermometer.
Safeguards
- a. Please do not disassemble the product if you are not a professional.
- b. Be sure that the sensor is not covered with dust as dust may lead to inaccurate measurements.
- c. Do not use alcohol to clean the sensor.
Product Warranty
This item carries a 1-year warranty against defects in either components or workmanship. During this period, products that prove to be defective will, at the discretion of INKBIRD, be either repaired or replaced without charge.
