Your IRIS Easy Flip features a unique large external screen, allowing you to take selfies with the cover closed. Explore the phone with more features.
Set up your SIM card
To install a SIM or SD card, follow these steps:
- Power the phone off.
- Remove the back cover. With the phone facing down, locate the notch on the bottom left edge of your phone.
- Remove the battery.
- Insert the SIM card into the SIM card slot with the gold contacts facing down. If you have an SD card (sold separately), insert it into the SD card slot.
- Install the back cover. Align the back cover to the frame of the phone and apply it until it locks into place.
How to Use the IRIS Easy Flip Phone
Power On/Off
- Turn On: Hold the red End/Power button.
Turn Off: Press and hold the same button until the power menu appears.
Making a Call
- Dial using the numeric keypad.
- Press the Green Call button.
- End the call by pressing the Red End button or closing the flip.
Sending a Text Message
- Go to Messages > Create Message.
- Type using multi-tap input on the keypad.
- Select Send and input the recipient’s number.
Accessing Contacts
- Add new contacts under Menu > Contacts > Add New Contact
- Use the search bar or scroll to find saved numbers.
- Assign photos or ringtones for easier recognition.
Taking a Photo
- Open the Camera app from the menu.
- Frame your shot using the screen.
- Press the OK/Center button to take a photo.
Using the Flashlight
- Long-press the center OK key while on the home screen.
Press again to turn it off.
Listening to FM Radio
- Plug in the provided headset (acts as an antenna).
- Navigate to the FM Radio app.
Tune channels with navigation keys.
Setting Up the Alarm
- Go to Menu > Tools > Alarm.
- Set desired time and tone.
- Enable repeat settings if needed.
Battery
- Connect the USB-C end of the USB cable to the charging port on the phone and connect another end to the charger.
- Plug the charger into an electric socket to start charging your phone.
- After charging is finished, disconnect the phone from the charger and unplug the charger from the socket.
Charging the device
Avoid storing or leaving battery with no charge remaining. Saved information and settings may become lost or changed, or battery may become unusable. Charge once every six months before storing or leaving unused for a long period.
Security & Convenience
To secure your phone from being used by others without your permission, activate the following security options:
- Screen Lock: Press OK from the home screen, then select Settings > Phone settings > Security > Screen lock.
- Selfie Mode: To take photos or record a video with the phone closed, long press the Camera Key at the side to start the Camera App.
