IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

  1. DO NOT look straight into the projector lens while it is working, as it may burn your eyes.
  2.  Please use the included power cord to power the machine.
  3.  It is normal that the machine produces heat during operation.
  4. When cleaning up the lens, please use a lens cleaner or special lens wipe paper.
  5.  Do not disassemble this machine. Our company covers professional warranty services.
  6.  Do not place the machine in a hot or humid place, as it may lead to internal components to break down.
  7.  Please contact the seller for technical support when having a product problem. Contact details are revealed at the end of this manual.

If no sound

  • Make sure that the device connected to the machine is turned on to the maximum volume.
  •  Check if the video definition is too high and there is no sound.
  • Check if the audio output is limited to the playback software. Netflix, HBO, BBC iPlayer, Disney + has restrictions on playback of our products. (copyright issue).
  •  If connect to iPhone, please prepare the Apple official lightning to HDMI adapter.
  •  If connect to the computer by VGA cable, make sure the audio cable is connected.

Installation

The projector can be installed in four positions to meet different needs, please press “Flip” on remote, or go to Menu>Option>Panel Rotate to set up the projection modes as you need. There are following modes for different installation options.

  • Rotate O – Front:
    Select this mode when the projector is placed in front of the wall/screen, and the image will be directly projected to the wall/screen This is the most common way to place the projector for quick setup.

    Select this mode when the projector is suspended upside-down from the ceiling behind the screen. (The ceiling mount is not included)

  • Rotate 2 – Front Ceiling:
    Select this mode when the projector is suspended upside-down from the ceiling in front of the screen.

    Select this mode when the projector gets placed behind the screen. NOTE: A special rear -projection screen is required.

Install the screen

  1. Simple screen package includes screen fabric, hooks and double-side adhesive tapes.
  2. First of all, pull the screen fabric flat and lay it on the wall where it will be installed. Mark every position of the grommets correctly on the wall.
  3. Second, stick each hook on an adhesive tape.
  4.  Then stick the hooks with the tapes on every position marked on the wall.
  5. Finally, put the screen flat by hanging the grommets on the relevant hooks.

Operation Guides

Power On/Off
As a safety precaution, please disconnect the projector and all equipment before connecting the cable.

  • As shown in Picture 1: connect the projector and the power source with the included AC power cable.
  • As shown in Picture 2:  the projector gets into standby mode as the LED indicator on the top of the projector lights up.
  • As shown in Picture 3: , turn on the projector by pressing the power button on the projector itself or on the remote controller. Start-up successes: LED indicator turns GREEN, you will see a [No signal] bar on the screen.
  • As shown in Picture 4 : adjust the Keystone correction wheel to make the projection screen rectangular first.
  • As shown in Picture: then adjust the Focus wheel manually on the projector until you get a clear picture.

Multiple Connections

The LC400 projector is compatible with multiple devices, such as laptops, game consoles, and Blu-ray players, or streaming media devices, including smartphones, tablets, Roku, Apple TV, etc.

Select an input source
You can do the following steps on the remote or the buttons of the projector to select the corresponding input source.

  1.  Press the  button to enter an input source menu.
  2. Press the  button to choose the right input source you need.
  3.  Press the  button to ensure the input source.

HDMI devices connection
It is compatible with laptops, DVD players, Blue-ray players, Chrome cast, TV Stick, etc. Please follow the below instructions to connect the projector to your devices. Before connecting, please prepare corresponding adapters for different devices.

Connecting to an Android smartphone
Most Android phones must be connected with the projector via Miracast/Dongle You can use a Miracast/Dongle to realize the wireless connection.

Note: make sure that your phone has a Screen Mirroring/Screen casting function.

  • Step 1: Plug the Miracast into the projector Plug the Miracast into the HDMI port of the projector, and plug the USB cable of the Miracast to the USB output port of the projector to power the Miracast.
  • Step 2: Mode (Miracast) For the Android devices, choose the Mode (Miracast) on the Miracast.
    Step 3: Open WLAN Connect to the network of the Miracast.
    Step 4: Select the “Wireless Projection” on your phone.

Multimedia connection

  1. Insert USB flash drive into the corresponding “USB” port of the projector.
  2. Choose the corresponding “Media Player” input source.

Audio devices connection
The projector can connect to a headphone or to a wired audio system via a 3.5mm jack (not included).

You can adjust the projector settings in the projector main menu by pressing the menu button on the remote controller.

Troubleshooting

  • Can I use the projector for a presentation?
    The LC400 home mini projector is not recommended for PowerPoint presentations. The relative darkroom will get better images.
  •  The projection is not bright enough?
    We recommend using the projector in a relatively dark environment to bring out the best image brightness.
  • Still have no sound when I connect  Blu-ray/DVD player to the projector?
    Please try to change the Blu-ray /DVD player audio output type to “PCM”.
  •  What should I do when I encounter an unsolvable problem?
