- Read all instructions before using this coffee dispenser.
- When charging this unit, do not exceed one 8-gram cartridge of nitrous oxide (N2O) or two 2-gram cartridges of nitrogen (N2).
- WARNING! Nitrous oxide cartridges are to be used only for the purpose of preparing coffee. Do not inhale the contents of the cartridge. Misuse of nitrous oxide can be dangerous to your health.
- Close supervision is necessary when this appliance is used near children. It is not recommended that children use this appliance.
- Do not use it if the keg is dented, bulged out, or damaged. If the bottom of the keg has bulged out, the pressure inside the keg has exceeded safe limits and the dimple has inverted to safely reduce pressure. The unit must be replaced.
- Do not operate in the event the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner. Return the appliance to the Presto Factory Service Department for examination, repair, or adjustment.
- The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may cause injuries. Use only genuine Presto® accessory attachments and replacement parts.
How to Use
- 1. Remove the tap head from the mini keg. Expand the funnel and place it in the keg opening. The funnel must be fully extended to work properly. Note: If using homemade cold brew coffee, it must be filtered before pouring it into the keg and infusing it with gas.
- Pour up to 48 ounces of store-bought or filtered homemade cold brew coffee into the keg and remove the funnel. You can charge as little as you like but do not exceed 48 ounces. If your cold brew is a concentrate, dilute it as you would for drinking
- Attach the flat end of one of the two silicone tubes to the barbed fitting. Push and twist the tube until it is past the second barb. Retain the second tube as a spare.
- Insert the tap assembly into the keg and screw it on until tight.
Care and Cleaning
- Pull up the pressure release valve ring to release any remaining gas in the keg.
- Unscrew the tap assembly and remove it from the keg. Pour out any remaining coffee.
- Pull the silicone tube off the barbed fitting and dispensing spout off the spout connector.
- To flush coffee out of the barbed fitting, run water through the spout connector while pressing down the tap.
- Wash the keg, silicone tube, tap head, dispensing spout, and collapsible funnel in warm water. Use a small brush to thoroughly clean inside both ends of the dispensing spout.
IMPORTANT: Do not wash any of the coffee dispenser parts in the dishwasher. Also avoid using harsh detergents, degreasers, abrasives, or acidic cleaning agents.
Note: For more thorough cleaning, fill the keg with hot water and 1 tablespoon of baking soda and soak for 10 minutes. Use a large keg brush to clean the inside keg, reaching the entire bottom and top inside the rim. Rinse thoroughly.
