*Grid Cleaning:
Make sure that the lamp is in OfF mode before brushing away dead mosquitoes/bugs from the grid.
HOW IT WORKS
This versatile product serves two purposes:
OUTDOOR DECORATIVE LED LAMP
When the toggle switch is in LIGHT mode (emits white light), it functions as a decorative outdoor lighting you can hang or place on top of a table or set on the ground. It will light up automatically in the dark.
MOSQUITO/BUG ZAPPER
When the toggle switch is in TRAP mode (emits purple light), it functions as a mosquito/insect killer. The ultraviolet (UV) radiation attracts the bugs to the light surrounded by an electric grid that traps and zaps them. It will light up automatically in the dark. Hang it off a shepherd hook or roof hanger (not included) at least 30 inches above the ground.
PLEASE NOTE:
The UV light is surrounded by an internal electric metal grid. An outer protective layer of the acrylic ring column helps prevent accidental touching of the electric grid. As an added precaution, make sure that the lamp is out of easy reach from kids and pets when set in TRAP mode.
HOW TO CHARGE POWER
This product can be charged in two ways:
Make sure to charge the lamp either using solar power or electric power before use.
TOGGLE SWITCH
The 3-mode toggle switch is located on the bottom side of the solar panel. mode. Ture charge, simply flip the switch to either “LIGHT” or “TRAP” mode. Turn to mode when not in use.

HOW SOLAR LIGHT WORKS
During the day, the solar panel collects sunlight and converts it into electrical power stored in the pre-installed rechargeable battery. At night, the photo sensor built into the solar panel sensing the absence of light turns on the solar light automatically using stored electricity. The more sunlight the fixture gets, the stronger the charge will be and the longer the lamp will illuminate at night.
INSTALLATION
- Ensure the mounting location for your solar light allows the solar panel to receive a full day of direct sunlight.
- Do not install in shady areas as this will significantly reduce performance at night.
- The Lamp should receive a minimum of 8 hours of sunlight per day for optimal performance at night.
- Be sure that the location is not near the ambient light from other light sources during evening hours. These light sources may affect the photo sensor and cause the lamp to turn off.
- As a mosquito zapper, hang the lamp on a shepherd hook or ceiling hook (not included) at least 30 inches above the ground at a height where mosquitoes may likely fly through
