Powerwerx PWRbox Mini Portable Power Box User Manual
Introduction
Congratulations on purchasing the PWRbox MINI by Powerwerx. This portable power station is ready to use right
out of the box. Before using your new power box, we suggest that you first charge the battery. This power box is offered in two models, 10 Ah and 15 Ah. These two models are the same unit but differ when it comes to battery capacity. The 15Ah version provides an additional 50% longer battery life. This unit is perfect for charging smartphones, tablets, fish finders, handheld GPS, and many other small 12V devices. If the power goes out, or you are camping in a remote location, the PWRbox Mini can keep your favorite small devices powered up and ready to go.
DC Power Up To 15A (switched)
The side mounted red backlit circuit breaker switch is rated at 15 amps maximum and turns on/off power to the blue
digital voltmeter, (2) USB fast QC3.0 charging ports, and the automotive 12V socket. The voltmeter and USB charger draw a small parasitic load on the battery even when not in use. For this reason, it is recommended that you turn the red toggle switch to the OFF position when not in use.
High Current DC (non-switched)
(2) Anderson Power pole connectors, compatible with the PP15/30/45 series, provide high current DC output, wired
directly to the battery and protected by an inline fuse.
Battery Charging
It is recommended that you initially charge your new power box battery for 8-12 hours before use. We also recommend you fully charge your power box at least once a month to maintain the charge. You may safely leave the battery charger connected continuously to your power box. After using your power box, it is always recommended you recharge the battery before storage.
Battery Charger Included
Includes AC-DC battery charger with Anderson Power pole connector. Output 14.6V DC, 2A (CC/CV charge profile for LiFePO4 batteries).
Tips
Never use your power box to jump start a vehicle, as it may damage the internal battery. Always switch the side red
power switch to OFF when not in use. Close dust covers on the automotive socket, USB charge ports and Powerpole
connectors when not in use. We recommend you fully charge your power box at least once a month to maintain maximum charge.
