Before Assembly
BEFORE USING PRODUCT
Read and follow all instructions carefully to ensure that your product is properly installed. Failure to follow these instructions for the assembly or use of your product could result in serious injury or death. The safety of your child is your responsibility. Please keep these instructions for your reference.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Periodically check the product for signs of damage, wear, or missing components. Do not use it if any parts are missing, worn, or damaged. Do not use abrasive cleaners or bleach to clean your product.
90 DAYS LIMITED WARRANTY
If, during the first 90 days after the consumer purchase of the item, under reasonable and non-commercial use and conditions of maintenance, it fails while owned by the original purchaser because of the quality of materials or workmanship of finish and assembly, Regalo International, LLC, will replace or repair it at Regalo’s option. PROOF OF PURCHASE REQUIRED.
Installing Your Bath Seat
Place the bath seat a minimum of 12 inches away from the drain of the adult tub and sit level to the floor of the tub. Do not position near the round surfaces of the tub. NOTE: Make sure the surface area of the adult tub is clean and dry.
Secure the bath seat in place by turning all four locking dials clockwise until the arms are fully extended to the interior tub walls. NOTE: Push down firmly on the bath seat to ensure all four suction cups are secured to the tub before placing the child.
Using Your Bath Seat
When filling the tub with water do not exceed the “max fill level” indicator. Do not exceed a water depth of 1 inch.
To remove the bath seat, rotate the locking dials counterclockwise. Pull tabs on suction cup seals to release from the tub.
WARNING
THIS IS NOT A SAFETY DEVICE. BABIES HAVE DROWNED WHILE USING BATH SEATS. PREVENT DROWNING:
- ALWAYS STAY WITHIN ARM’S REACH OF YOUR BABY.
- THE PRODUCT IS SUITABLE FOR BABIES ABLE TO SIT UP UNASSISTED (APPROXIMATELY 5 MONTHS OF AGE).
- STOP USING WHEN BABY BEGINS PULLING TO A STANDING POSITION (APPROXIMATELY 10 MONTHS OF AGE).
- SUCTION CUPS WILL ONLY PROPERLY ADHERE TO A SMOOTH, CLEAN, AND DRY SURFACE.
- NEVER USE IN A SINK.
- ALWAYS FIRMLY LOCK ALL 4 SUCTION CUPS TO THE INTERIOR ADULT TUB WALLS. CHECK FOR SECURE FIT BEFORE EACH USE.
- NEVER USE THE PRODUCT IF THE INTERIOR OF THE ADULT IS WET, THE ADULT TUB MUST BE DRY BEFORE INSTALLATION.
- ONLY USE IN STANDARD RECTANGULAR ADULT TUB WITH INNER WIDTH DIMENSIONS OF 21-24 INCHES.
- DISCONTINUE THE USE OF THE PRODUCT IF IT BECOMES DAMAGED, BROKEN, OR DISASSEMBLED.
- NEVER BATHE BABY UNTIL YOU HAVE TESTED THE WATER TEMPERATURE. ALWAYS CHECK THE WATER TEMPERATURE BEFORE PLACING THE CHILD IN THE BATH SEAT.
- BATH WATER SHOULD BE BETWEEN 90 AND 100°F (32.2 AND 37.8°C).
- BABIES CAN DROWN IN AS LITTLE AS 1 IN. OF WATER. USE AS LITTLE WATER AS POSSIBLE TO BATHE YOUR BABY.
- NEVER RELY ON A TODDLER OR PRESCHOOLER TO HELP YOUR BABY OR ALERT YOU TO TROUBLE. BABIES HAVE DROWNED EVEN WITH OTHER CHILDREN IN OR NEAR THE TUB.
FALL HAZARD:
PREVENT SERIOUS INJURY FROM FALLING. NEVER LIFT OR CARRY BABY IN THE BATH SEAT.
