How to Use the R3 Motorcycle Helmet Camera

Charging the Camera

  • Connect the included USB cable to a charger or PC.
  • Charge fully before first use—indicator lights will show charging status.

Inserting the Memory Card

  • Use a microSD card (Class 10 recommended, up to 128GB).
  • Insert the card into the designated slot until it clicks.

Mounting the Camera

Helmet Bracket

  1. Press the mounting base firmly onto the bottom of the R3 so that the R3 is tightly seated against the base.
  2. Press the two parts in the helmet bracket kit into place by aligning the grooves as shown.
  3. Tighten the screws in the holes.
  4. Insert the assembled bracket parallel to the base.
  5. Attach the 3M fixing adhesive to the base.
  6. Align the bracket with the holes in the R3 mounting base and tighten then peel off the 3M adhesive cover film to stick it to the helmet.

Handlebar Bracket

  1. Press the mounting base firmly onto the bottom of the R3 so that the R3 is tightly seated against the base.
  2. Align the bracket with the holes in the R3 mounting base and tighten it to complete the installation, then you can snap it onto the handlebar.

Velcro

  1. Wipe the spot where you want to mount the R3 and attach the velcro to it.
  2. Align the bottom of the R3 with the velcro and press firmly to complete the installation.

Operation of Recording Functions

  1. Power On: Long press the power button for 3 seconds, until the video recording indicator red light is on and flashing regularly.
  2. Turn on WIFI: Under the power-on state, short press the power button once, the device will enter the pause recording state, and will turn on the WIFI, at this time the indicator blue light flashes regularly.
  3. Connect to cell phone: Open WIFI in the settings of cell phone, select “TNICER R3_ XXXXXX” in the list to connect, enter the password. 12345678″ to complete the connection. After successful connection, the device indicator light will be on, and then you can open the camera APP.
  4. APP operation: Press the start recording button in APP, the device will start recording and turn off WIFI after 5 seconds.
