Your hub can be in 4 different protection modes and you can switch modes easily with a simple tap on the Tapo app.

  • Home Mode: Use this mode when you are at home. Set all outdoor sensors and door/window sensors as trigger devices to arm your home, then you could move freely in your home without triggering your indoor sensors.

  • Sleep Mode: Use this mode when you are asleep. Set motion sensors for lighting as trigger devices for your convenience while set door/window sensors and outdoor sensors as trigger devices for security.
  • Protection Mode OFF: Use this mode only when you want to disarm. No sensors in your home will trigger the hub alarm.
