PELTOR Trapper

Hearing is just as critical as the vision in hunting situations. The hunter needs to be able to hear and locate a snapping twig or the dogs barking, and sometimes also be able to communicate over the radio. A level dependent hearing protection from Peltor sharpens your hearing and strengthens your chance to success in hunting.

Peltor has a broad assortment of level dependent hearing protections, each adapted to a specific usage. The level dependent function lets you hear sound from the environment while you still wear your protection. Soft sounds are amplified, as a result enabling the user to hear them even better than without hearing protection. At the same time sudden impulse noises at harmful levels are immediately attenuated by the electronics inside the cups.

Trapper is a new level dependent hearing protection from Peltor built upon the construction of our well renowned product “ComTac” that is designed for military applications. Trapper is a civilian model where functionality and design are adapted especially to hunter’s needs of both excellent hearing and protection.

FUNCTIONS

• Soft padded headband covered by a plastic film that rejects dirt.
• The headband is foldable for comfort and easy storage in the rucksack or pocket.
• Digital adjustment of the level dependent function.
• Automatic shut-off after 2 hours.
• Audio input J22 as standard, which enables connection to communication equipment like two-way radio etc.
• 2×1,5 V AA batteries, ~ 250 hours operating time.
• Warning signals when batteries are low.
• A beep signal indicates on/off of the level dependent function.

• HY68 SV: Hygiene kit of two attenuation cushions and two soft, broad and fluid filled cushion rings in black.
• HY100A: Clean singled-use protection that easily applies to the cushion rings.

• M60/2: Wind protection for ambient-noise microphones.
• TAMT06: Hunting cable with PTT-button to connect two- way radios and works with radios from Alan, Hunter, Genzo, Zodiac and Icom etc.
• FL6H: Cable for connection to the audio input: 3,5 mm mono plug.

MT7-FL6AB: Headset kit which contains a boom-microphone (MT7), microphone guide (A44) plus a branch cord (FL6AB) to connect the audio input on the cup and microphone to the external radio.
