INTRODUCTION
The SWAMI Voice Clip offers total versatility! The built-in Voice feature can deliver audible distances as you prepare to attack the pin. With multiple display orientation options, you can rotate the screen to view distances in a larger font.

CHARGING

  1. Attach the magnetic pins on the charging cord to the magnetic charging ports located on the side of the Voice Clip. Make sure the charging cradle snaps into place & is securely attached to the unit.

SETTING THE TIME

  1. To set the correct time, the device must be connected to satellites (must be outside). This can be done by using Golf Mode or by going to Settings.

DESCRIPTION OF TERMS

  • PRESS – PRESS & RELEASE button quickly.
  • HOLD – PRESS & HOLD button until the desired screen appears or a change happens.

  • A. [ POWER/BACK ] – HOLD to Power On/Off. PRESS & RELEASE to return to a previous screen.
  • B. [ OK ] – PRESS & RELEASE to select options.
  • C. [ UP ] – PRESS & RELEASE to scroll. HOLD while in Golf Mode to access Scorecard.
  • D. [ DOWN ] – PRESS & RELEASE to scroll. HOLD while in Golf Mode to access the Shot Distance screen.
  • E. [ VOICE ] – PRESS & RELEASE to receive the audio distance reading to the center of the green while in Golf Mode. PRESS & HOLD to receive the audio distance reading to the front & back of the green while in Golf Mode.

GOLF MODE

  1. From the Time screen, PRESS & RELEASE the [ DOWN ] button to display Golf Mode.

  2. PRESS & RELEASE the [ OK ] button to select Golf Mode.
  3. The device will begin searching for a satellite signal (PRESS & RELEASE the [ BACK ] button to cancel).

  4. Once a satellite connection is established, the nearest golf courses will be listed. Use the [ UP / DOWN ] buttons to scroll to the desired course, and then the PRESS [ OK ] button to select the course.

AT GOLF COURSE

  1. PRESS [ OK ] button to select Play Golf.
  2. The device will begin searching for a satellite signal (HOLD [ OK ] button to cancel).
  3. Once a satellite connection is established, the nearest golf courses will be listed. Use the [ UP/DOWN ] buttons to scroll to the desired course, and the PRESS [ OK ] button to select the course.

PLAY MODE

  1. PRESS [ OK ] button to toggle between Hazard, Scorecard, and Shot Distance screens.
  2. To exit Play Mode at any time, HOLD [ OK ] button.

HAZARD VIEW

  1. PRESS [ OK ] button to access the Hazard screen.
  2. Only 3 hazards will show at a time. If a hole has more than 3 hazards, scroll by using the [ UP/DOWN ] buttons. (Hazards that are behind you will not be displayed).
  3. To exit, PRESS the [ OK ] button to view Scorecard, and Shot Distance (if enabled), or return to Play Mode.

SHOT DISTANCE

Note:
Shot Distance must be turned On in Settings.

  1. PRESS [ OK ] button to access Shot Distance.
  2. To start measuring Shot Distance, PRESS the [ DOWN ] button.
  3. As you travel to your ball, the distance will begin calculating.
  4. Once you arrive at your ball, the distance displayed is the distance of your previous shot (the distance you traveled).
  5. To reset, PRESS the [ DOWN ] button.
  6. PRESS the [ OK ] button to view the next/previous screen.

SCORECARD

Note:
The scorecard must be turned On in Settings.

  1. PRESS [ OK ] button to access Scorecard.
  2. Use the [ UP/DOWN ] buttons until the number of total strokes for that hole is displayed.
  3. HOLD the [ DOWN ] button to scroll to Putts, and use the [ UP/DOWN ] buttons until a correct number of putts is displayed.
  4. HOLD the [ DOWN ] button to scroll to GIR (Greens in Regulation). Use the [ UP/DOWN ] buttons to select Y/N (Yes or No).
  5. To exit, PRESS the [ OK ] button to return to Play Mode.

END ROUND 

  1. When finished with the round, HOLD [ OK ] button to return to the Main Menu.
  2. If Scorecard is turned on, use the [ UP/DOWN ] buttons to scroll to the desired option, and PRESS [ OK ] to select.
    • Save & Exit – Save Scorecard, end round, and return to Main Menu.
    • Discard & Exit – Discard Scorecard, end round, and return to Main Menu.
    • Cancel – Select to return to Play Mode.

YARDAGE LAYOUT

Select to choose how you would prefer the distances to display in PlayGolf Mode. Use the [UP] & [DOWN] buttons to choose Type 1 (A) or Type 2 (B). Keep your selected Type highlighted, then PRESS & HOLD [ OK ] to go back to the Main Menu.

NOTE:
If you PRESS [OK] on Type 1 or Type 2, the Kiss will display an example of how the yardages will display in PlayGolf. PRESS [OK] to go back to the YDG Layout options and then PRESS & HOLD [OK] to go back to the Main Menu.

SETTINGS

  1. Use the [ UP/DOWN ] buttons to scroll to Settings.
  2. PRESS the [ OK ] button to access the Settings Menu.
  3. Use [ UP/DOWN ] buttons to scroll through Settings Menu.
  4. PRESS the [ OK ] button to select the desired setting.
  5. HOLD [ OK ] button to return to the Main Menu.

TIME SET
Note: To set the correct time, select PlayGolf to connect to the satellites. The watch will then automatically set the correct time (must be outside).

  1. Use the [ UP/DOWN ] buttons to manually adjust the time by the hour.
  2. PRESS [ OK ] button to save and return to Settings Menu.

MAGNETIC CART MOUNT

The SWAMI KISS contains a strong magnet inside of the unit. Use the magnet to attach to a metal surface for hands-free use on the course. To attach, simply line up the back of the unit with a metal surface and allow the magnet to connect before letting go.
