Using your Trimmer
Charging the battery
Before the appliance is used for the first time, it should be charged for 3 – 5 hours. It then takes 3 hours to fully recharge the battery again. The appliance is charged via the charging stand. Place the appliance in the charging stand so that charging contact is made. During charging, the charging indicator is illuminated. The charging indicator will begin to blink when almost fully charged and may shut off when fully charged.
Note: This does not indicate the appliance can no longer charge, it means the appliance does not need to draw electricity
Cutting length adjustment
The cutting length adjustment intergrated in the blade set (Fig.1) has five settings to determine the length of the hair from 0.7mm – 3mm. Move the adjusting lever to the required position and click it into place.

Battery operation
Switch on the appliance using the on/off switch (Fig. 2a) and, after use, switch it off again (Fig. 2b).
Cutting with attachment combs
Depending on the desired haircut, the appliance can be operated with or without attachment comb. The scope of supply includes the following attachment combs: 3 mm, 6 mm, 9 mm, 12 mm, 18mm and 25mm cutting length.
Attaching/removing the attachment comb
- Slide the attachment comb all the way on to the blade set in the direction indicated by the arrow. (fig.3a).
- The attachment comb can easily be removed by pushing it in the direction of the arrow. (fig.3b)
Cleaning and Care
- Oil the blade set (Fig. 4). Do not immerse the appliance in water!
- After each use, remove the attachment comb (Fig. 3b) and use the cleaning brush to remove cut hairs from the housing opening and from the blade set (Fig. 6).
- Remove the blade set to do this (Fig. 5a). The charging contacts on the appliance and on the charging stand
- Never use solvents or scouring agents!
- For a long-lasting, good cutting performance, it is important to oil the blade set frequently (Fig. 4).
Only use Wahl clipper oil. - Clipper oil (3310) and hygienic spray (ZX495) is available from your dealer or our Service Centre.
- Always store the appliance with the blade guard in place.
- Changing the blade set Switch off the appliance using the on/off switch (Fig. 2b).
- To replace the blade set, position it with the hook in the opening of the housing and press it onto the housing (Fig. 5b)
