The microphone connects to your computer via a USB Type-C connection and records up to 24-bit/96 kHz resolution. The USB port also gives the computer back to the microphone, which you can monitor with your voice through the 3.5mm headphone. The microphone is controlled by a simple knob and easy-to-read LED indicators, with gain control for headphone audio and mixing of live audio and computer audio. A button on the top of the microphone activates the capacitive mute.
Elgato’s Wave Link app allows podcasters and broadcasters to control nine independent inputs from their Mac or PC, enabling integrated playback of audio, chat, music, reminders, patterns, and more. The cabinet has adjustable U-brackets for proper positioning and a padded base to reduce noise. Remove the bracket and attach the Wave:3 to the boom bracket and boom arm using the included adapters. A steel grille protects the electret condenser capsule while reducing exhaust and blasts for clear and intelligent speech.
