IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
Before using the electrical appliance, the following basic precautions should always be followed including the following:
- Read all instructions.
- Keep the humidifier out of reach of children.
- Before use check that the voltage of the wall outlet corresponds to the one shown on the rating plate.
- Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions, or is dropped or damaged in any manner. Return the appliance to the nearest authorized service facility for examination, repair, or electrical or mechanical adjustment.
- If the supply cord is damaged it must be replaced by the manufacturer an authorized service agent or a qualified technician in order to avoid a hazard.
- Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a table or hot surface.
- Do not immerse the plug, cord, or housing in water due to the risk of electric shock.
- This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
- Use only bottled bottles, distilled or tap water. DO NOT use sparkling water or the humidifier will not work normally. To avoid white dust, the use of distilled water is recommended.
- To avoid fire or shock hazards, plug into the humidi with an AC Adaptor then plug the humidi directly into a 120 VAC or 240 VAC electrical outlet.
- Never insert or drop any object into any openings.
- DO NOT operate the ER with a damaged cord or plug.
- DO NOT use outdoors.
IMPORTANT:
To improve the efficiency of your humidifier and reduce the possibility of health hazard, it is recommended that you take the following precautions:
- Follow the manufacturer’s recommended cleaning and maintenance instructions.
- The amount of minerals and impurities in the water source is varied; therefore periodical cleaning of the humidifier is necessary.
- During the heating season, check the film or scale built up on the humidifier and all moving parts every 2 weeks basis, and establish a proper cleaning schedule.
- Do not allow film or scale build up on the humidier or any moving parts, it will reduce the efficiency or life span of the humidier. 5. At the end of the winter humidifier season, drain and thoroughly clean your humidifier as part of the summer shutdown. Like your heating system or air conditioning unit, periodic cleaning and maintenance are required to ensure the safe and efficient operation of your humidifier.

OPERATION NOTE:
Before the humidifier is used, check all accessories are included:
- 120~240VAC Adaptor
- cleaning brush
- storage pouch.
- Fold out the feet under the humidifier and make sure the feet are firmly opened and fixed under the humidifier (see Figure A). The feet stabilize the humidier with a bottle on the top.
- Ensure the mist/nozzle outlet is in the open position, otherwise, the humidier will not work.
- A 17oz / 0.5 liter water bottle is recommended. You may also fill the empty water bottle with tap water.
- Insert the water adaptor into the water bottle, then quickly place the other side of water adaptor into the humidifier (see Figure B+C). DO NOT over-tighten the water adaptor. The water bottle should not be squeezed since it will cause the humidier to overflow.
- Plug the AC adaptor directly into wall outlet.
- Turn the Dial Switch to the lowest setting (see Figure D), the humidier will begin to operate within a few seconds. A blue LED light inside the unit will illuminate when the unit is working.
- UV LED will illuminate within a few seconds after the unit is turned on (see Figure E). UV LED provides add-on germicidal protection.
- When the dial switch is turned further to the right, the mist output will be set to the maximum level. You may notice a new mist of water around the unit when the dial is set to the maximum level. To eliminate that, simply turn the dial to the left to set it to a lower level.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- Turn off the humidier and unplug the unit from its electrical outlet before cleaning.
- To prevent mold, bacteria, film, and scale from forming, it is recommended the upper part, the mist outlet/nozzle, the water adaptor, the water bottle, and the ultrasonic nebulizer be cleaned once every two weeks (see Figure E).
- Clean the inner parts with a soft cloth. DO NOT use any aggressive cleaning agent or detergent to clean the humidier.
- Only use the included brush to clean the ultrasonic nebulizer. This should be done once a week (see Figure F).
- Use water only to clean.
- Do not immerse the humidifier in the water when cleaning.
- No water should come into contact with the air vents.
- None of the parts are dishwasher safe – so they cannot be cleaned in a dishwasher.
