Intended Use
- This product is intended for protecting the electronics from power surges.
- This product is intended for household use only. It is not intended for commercial use. This product is intended to be used in dry indoor areas only.
- No liability will be accepted for damages resulting from improper use or non-compliance with these instructions.
Before First Use
- Check for transport damages.
- Clean the product before first use.
- Before connecting the product to the power supply, check that the power supply voltage and current rating corresponds with the power supply details shown on the product rating label.
Operation
Plug the product’s power plug into a standard 3-wire grounded 120 V- outlet. To turn the product on, set the power switch to RESET position. The “Protected” and “Grounded” indicators light up green.
- Plug the equipment’s power plug (including 2-wire devices) into the product’s outlets.
- To manually turn the product off, set the power switch to OFF position. All outlets stops providing power and both indicators go off.
WARNING :
If the Protected” indicator goes off, the built-in surge protection is no longer functioning. Unplug all the connected devices and replace the product.
Cleaning and Maintenance
WARNING:
Never drill into water pipes or power lines. Use a line locator if necessary.
WARNING:
Never hold the product under running water.
- To clean, wipe with a soft, slightly moist cloth.
- Dry the product after cleaning.
- Never use corrosive detergents, wire brushes, abrasive scourers, metal or sharp utensils to clean the product.
Store in a cool and dry place away from children and pets, ideally in original packaging. Avoid any vibrations and shocks.
