Preparation and Installation

Insert Memory Card
For reliable operation, please prepare a Class 10 microSD/ TF card with a capacity of 32GB.

  • Insert a microSD card into the memory card slot located at the left side of the LCD screen. Be aware of the orientation shown in the picture below. (Electrical contacts of the microSD card should be facing the LCD display side of the camera, with the notches of microSD card facing up.) When the memory card is successfully inserted, you will hear a ‘clicking’ sound.
  • To remove the microSD card, gently put its top edge inward until it clicks. It will pop up and can be removed.

Tips:

  • The microS card must be formatted when first used.
  • For a 64GB/128GB card, please use a computer to format it with FAT32 file system before using.
  • It’s recommended to format the card regularly.

Attach Mount to Camera

  • Align the mount with the mounting groove located at the top of the camera, slot it into the groove, and slide it to the left.

Remove Lens Protection Film
Before installing the camera onto the windshield, remove the protection film from the camera lens. For best results, please try to avoid touching the camera lens with your fingers, as fingerprints and/or oil may degrade image quality.

Product Installation

  • Clean the windshield using water or alcohol, and wipe clean with a lint-free cloth. Install the suction mount to the windshield, and rotate the locking bar on the mount upward 90 degrees till it clicks, then the camera is mounted on the windshield securely.
  • Connect the microUSB Cable end of the Charging Cable to the Suction Cup Mount. Carefully route the power cable around the windshield and tuck the wire under the trim. When complete, insert the Car Charger into your vehicle’s cigarette lighter port.

  • Please follow the instructions below. Install the rear camera in the correct direction.
  • To avoid damage to the dash cam, we suggest that you ask a professional to install it for you.

Operation Instructions

Powering On / Off Automatic:
The camera is designed to automatically power on when it receives power from the car power adapter. A start-up sound will be played when the camera has started successfully. When the camera is ON, simply turn OFF the engine or unplug the power cable and the camera will switch OFF automatically.

Manual:
Switching the camera OFF manually is required for vehicles where the vehicle’s power socket provides continuous power after the engine is turned OFF. To turn the power off manually, press and hold the power button for at least 3 seconds. A Countdown will display on the screen. Press and hold the power button until the camera is powered off. To turn the camera on manually, press and hold the power button for at least 3 seconds.

Mode Switches
Long press the mode(menu) button to toggle video recording mode, photo mode, and video playback mode.

Video Feature Menu
Press the Menu Button once on Video Recording

Mode Resolution
Default: 1080FHD The resolution of the front camera could be adjusted. And the rear camera resolution is fixed at 720P.

Parking Guard Default:
Off Please do not turn on it while driving. Turn on this function, the device will automatically record when it detects car vibration in the parking state. The parking guard needs special power boxes for a specific Car Dash Cam Camera to connect the ACC and GND in the safety box.

Headlight Warning Default:
Off When the front of dim light to a certain degree, this machine will make a notice and a flashing icon.

Screensaver Options:
OFF/ 1 Minute/ 3 Minutes In the recording state, the screen would be dark when there is no operation after a while, but the recording continues.

Format
Please format your SD card before first use. Please format the SD card every 15 days to prevent the card from being full, resulting in the camera not recording properly.

FAQ

Q: The screen asks “Please insert SD card”, but I have inserted the microSD card, what should I do?
A: Please check if the SD card has been formatted before first use, or replace a new premium-brand class 10 SD card with a capacity of 32GB.

Q: The camera automatically shuts down after a one-minute recording. What What should I do?
A: The screen backlight time of the camera defaults to one minute. As long as the blue light flashes, the recording is continuing. You can also change the backlight time in the system setting screensaver.

Q: How can I make it record when I park my car?
A: Please prepare an extra hard wire kit to keep a continuous power supply, then it will work during standby conditions.

Q: When driving, the camera will beep and show a headlight symbol on the screen. What does it mean and how to do it?
A: It’s the function ” Headlight warning”. Headlight Warning means the dim light in the front has reached a certain degree. Therefore, it will make a notice and show a flashing icon. Please turn off it in the menu of ” Headlight warning”.

Q: Can I playback the video on the dash cam?
A: You can view the recording in playback mode. If it is a locked video, there will be a “lock” sign on the video.
