CHARGING THE RECHARGEABLE BATTERY

Before first use, the hair trimmer must be fully charged.

• Slide the On/Off switch.
• Insert the connector of the mains cable into the power jack of the hair trimmer.
• Plug the mains cable into a mains socket.
• The indicator light will come on to indicate charging. It will not go out when the battery is fully charged.
• 120 minutes continuous operation when fully recharged.

NOTES ABOUT THE RECHARGEABLE BATTERY

The rechargeable battery does not initially have a full capacity. To obtain the maximum charge capacity, the battery should be fully charged prior to being used for the first time, then the hair trimmer should be used until the batteries are completely flat. The batteries should then be fully recharged. To increase the life of the rechargeable batteries, this charging and discharging procedure should be repeated approximately twice a year. The rechargeable battery must be removed from the appliance before it is scrapped. The appliance must be disconnected from the mains when removing the battery. The rechargeable battery must be disposed off safely.

HOW TO USE

• The beard must be clean and dry when being cut.
• Only cut small amounts of hair at one time.
• There are 20 gear adjustments with 0.5 mm fine regulation.
• Slide the cutting head with a slight tilt over your skin without applying pressure.
• Cut the beard in progressively until you reach the desired length.
• The cutting head will jam if you try to work too quickly or try to cut too much beard at one time.
• Let the appliance run for a short time before starting to cut.

OILING THE TRIMMER HEAD

• Oil the trimmer head from time to time if you use the trimmer regularly. Use non-corrosive oil, for example sewing machine oil.
• Remove the comb attachment.
• Apply one or two drops of oil between the cutting teeth.
• Turn the trimmer briefly on and then off again to distribute the oil.
• Remove any excess oil by wiping with a cloth.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

• Disconnect the power cord from the trimmer.
• Remove the comb attachment.
• Hold the main body, place your thumb against the blades and then push them away from the main body.
• With a damp cloth clean the main body of the beard trimmer.

You can dismantle the battery out: Loosen rear cover with screwdriver and dismantle the battery with electricity off for sure.
