Meet the RØDECaster Pro II, a new revolution in creative audio technology. Before I introduce you to this incredible RØDE innovation, I want to wind back to December 2018 when we released the original RØDECaster Pro. This was a milestone event for the company and one of the defining releases in our history. The RØDECaster Pro was a sharp left-turn in our product catalog – a fully integrated podcast production studio that was unlike anything we had released before. In fact, it was unlike anything the world had seen before.
Combining all the elements typically found in a professional broadcast studio in a single, easy-to-use console, it allowed literally anyone to create polished, broadcast-ready recordings, even with no prior audio experience. It democratized podcasting in a way that so many RØDE products had done for other creative formats in the past: the NT1 for home studio recording in 1991, the VideoMic for indie filmmaking in 2004, or the NT-SF1 for 360° audio capture just months earlier in 2018.
“Gamechanger” was the go-to term in headlines when the RØDECaster Pro was released, validating what we had known since the product’s conception: that we had created something entirely new, entirely unique, and revolutionary in every sense of the word. Following its launch, numerous imitations have come to the fore, though none have come close to replicating the user-friendly and incredible-sounding feature set of their progenitor.

Pre-loaded presets and the intuitive VoxLab™ processing editor make capturing professional-quality sound effortless. Every feature, from setting up a microphone channel to programming the SMART pads, has been designed to maximize creativity, and every function can be controlled onboard via the user-friendly interface or with a computer via RØDE Central for maximum convenience. REVOLUTION PREAMPS
The RØDECaster Pro II features four high-end studio preamps that have been designed from the ground up to deliver pristine audio quality with any microphone or instrument. With an ultra-low noise level of just -131.5dBV and a whopping 76dB of gain on tap, they eliminate the need for microphone boosters, lifters, or external processing, even with the most demanding dynamic mics. They are highly transparent, allowing every detail of what’s plugged in to shine and providing a clean platform to shape and enhance the signal using the on-board processing and effects.
Every great recording starts with a great microphone and a great preamp. The RØDECaster Pro II features four phenomenal preamps that rival boutique designs that cost thousands of dollars per channel, complete with broadcast-quality faders for precise gain adjustment, accurate digital level metering, and high-power headphone and speaker outputs for monitoring in stunning definition. Just add a RØDE mic and you’re golden.
APHEX PROCESSING
To complement these high-end preamps, the RØDECaster Pro II offers studio-quality signal processing powered by one of the most revered names in pro audio: APHEX. On-board is a suite of legendary APHEX processors each painstakingly remodelled for the RØDECaster Pro II to deliver authentic emulations of classic hardware units. This includes the Aural Exciter for adding sheen and sparkle, Big Bottom for adding richness and depth, and the legendary Compellor master compressor/leveler for adding that all-important final touch.
There is also a de-esser, noise gate, high-pass filter, and equalizer, also powered by APHEX. These can be tweaked to taste using the RØDECaster Pro II’s innovative VoxLab™ processing editor, which utilises three intuitive controls to change multiple parameters on multiple processors for achieving pro results in seconds, or via the advanced editor for granular editing (either onboard or with a computer). All settings can be saved as presets and re-loaded at any time on any channel.

Advanced Bluetooth connectivity with wideband speech can be used for ultra-high-quality phone call integration, crystal-clear audio streaming, wireless monitoring, and more. Dual USB-C interfaces allow two computers or mobile devices to be connected simultaneously, unlocking huge potential for everything from remote podcasting to organizing complex streaming setups.
Users can record in stereo or multitrack to either an onboard microSD™ card, a USB storage device, or directly to a computer, with ultra-fast data transfer. The RØDECaster Pro II also features Wi-Fi and Ethernet connections, which offer high-speed communication with computers and other devices for updating firmware wirelessly, software and hardware integrations, and more.

ACCESSORIES & HARDWARE
To maximize everything it has to offer, the RØDECaster Pro II is designed to pair perfectly with a range of existing RØDE products and will be announced alongside a few new ones. PodMic
The RØDECaster Pro II offers presets for a range of RØDE mics, including the PodMic. Delivering rich, full-bodied sound (complimented perfectly by the Revolution Preamps and APHEX processing), with an internal pop filter and internal shock mount for capturing crystal-clear audio and a swing mount for easy positioning, it’s ideal for podcasting, streaming, and other content creation applications.
RØDECover II
A high-quality cover for protecting the RØDECaster Pro II from dirt, dust and spills and keeping it safe while on the road. The RØDECover 2 is made from high-quality polycarbonate and is designed to exact specifications of the unit, ensuring a tight fit.

RØDE’s very first pair of headphones have arrived, and they are the perfect cans for use with the RØDECaster Pro II. The NTH-100s sound phenomenal, look incredible, and are supremely comfortable (being optimized for long-format content creation). Every pair also comes with a set of colored ID rings that are matched to the colors of the RØDECaster Pro II for keeping track of who is connected to which headphone output, with colored cables available separately.
