How to Use/Install
The AR800 card reader can be directly installed on the wall or in the card reader bracket. installation steps:
- Punch holes on the wall according to the two mounting holes on the card reader (standard electrical installation bottom box)
- Fix the card reader to the wall with screws
TROUBLESHOOTING
- The installation position of AR800 should be far away from interference sources such as the main power line, and do not install the antenna on a large steel plate, otherwise the distance will be shortened, and the auto tuning will even exceed the range. Allow the use of a suitable metal fixing frame. When the computer is in DOS mode, its display will seriously interfere with the card reader, especially the gun display. In addition, for laser printers, oscillations can also shorten the reading distance. During the machine’s power-on self-test, there must be no proximity card in the sensing area!!! Otherwise, automatic adjustment will be affected, and the most ideal card reading effect cannot be achieved.
- Installation precautions: The card reader must be installed on wood, concrete or brick wall, or placed on the desktop. Large-area steel products with a radius of no more than 120 cm. Do not plug or unplug the power supply when the power is on, otherwise the communication circuit of the card reader will easily be burned.
