Model HHF550 Series – Manual TurboForce® Heater Operation

With the Power Knob in the OFF Honeywell-HHF550-Turbo-Force®-Heater-Fan-Fig11 position, plug the heater into a polarized 120V outlet. DO NOT FORCE THE POLARIZED PLUG INTO THE OUTLET; it will only fit one way.

The Power Knob is equipped with three (3) settings: (Fig. 1) Fan Only Honeywell-HHF550-Turbo-Force®-Heater-Fan-Fig12, Low Honeywell-HHF550-Turbo-Force®-Heater-Fan-Fig13

and High Honeywell-HHF550-Turbo-Force®-Heater-Fan-Fig14. The Low Honeywell-HHF550-Turbo-Force®-Heater-Fan-Fig13
heat setting uses 750 watts of power and the High Honeywell-HHF550-Turbo-Force®-Heater-Fan-Fig14 heat setting uses 1500 watts of power. The Fan only Honeywell-HHF550-Turbo-Force®-Heater-Fan-Fig12 setting uses very low power and does not provide heat. You can select the proper setting to accommodate your comfort level with the Power Knob. When you choose any setting the red Power Light will come on. The Low Honeywell-HHF550-Turbo-Force®-Heater-Fan-Fig13 heat setting does not require as much electricity to operate, it is more energy efficient and may be a better option if you are concerned about the amperage draw on a circuit when the heater is on the High setting. Use the Fan only setting for optimal comfort level year round.
