BATTERY

Installing Batteries

  • Please read this manual carefully.
  • Press the top of the battery cover, slide back, and lift the cover as shown below.
  • To replace batter es, open the battery cover, replace alkali ne batter es (1.5 V, AA) match ng+and-ends to the label ns de the compartment, and close the battery cover. Be sure to point the remote control at the remote control sensor on the TV.
  • To remove the batteries, perform the installed on act ons and reverse. Don’t m x old or used batter es w the new ones. Close the cover securely.
  • Open the battery cover to find the label.

Precautions

  • After the replacement of the batteries, par the remote control and use it by the user manual.
  • If the unit does not operate after the replacement of batteries, reattempt the party by the user manual.
  • If the remote controller is not being used for a prolonged period, remove the batteries from the unit.

How to register (pair) the Magic Remote
To use the Mag c Remote, first pa r t w th your TV.

  1. Put batteries into the Mag c Remote and turn the TV on.
  2. Point the Mag c Remote at your TV and press the Wheel (OK) on the remote control.
  3. If the TV fails to register the Mag c Remote, try again after turning the TV off and back on.

  • Shake the Mag c Remote slightly to the right and left or press (HOME), (INPUT), or (Q. Settings) buttons to make the po enter appear on the screen. (In some TV models, the power will appear when you turn the Wheel (OK) button.)
  • If the pointer has not been used for a certain per od of time or Mag c Remote is placed on a flat surface, then the po enter will d appear.
  • If the po enter does not respond ng smoothly, you can reset the pointer by moving it to the edge of the screen.
  • The Mag c Remote depletes batteries faster than a normal remote due to the added tonal features.
PRECAUTIONS TO TAKE
  • Use the remote control in the specified range (less than 10 m). You may experience communication problems when using the dev ce outs the coverage area or if there are obstacles in the coverage area.
  • You may experience common cat on fa lures depending on the accessories. Dev ces such as a microwave oven and w wireless LAN operate in the same frequency band (2.4 GHz) as the Mag c Remote. This may cause common cat on fa lures.
  • The Mag c Remote may not work properly for a wireless router (AP) s w th n 0.2 m of the TV. Your wireless router should be more than 0.2 m away from the TV.
