Overview
INSTALLING THE EAR TIPS
- Remove the ear tip. Note: The medium ear tip is attached to your headset by default.
- Push an ear tip onto the headset.
INSTALLING THE EAR HOOK
Clip the ear hook to the base of the ear tip.
CHARGING YOUR HEADSET
Connect the charging cable from your headset to a computer or power outlet with a USB adapter (not included). Note: Battery life varies based on settings, environmental conditions, and usage. Battery capacity decreases with use over time.
POWERING YOUR HEADSET
Press and hold (MFB) for three seconds to turn your headset on or off. Note: The headset says “Power on” or “Power off” when you turn your device on or off.
USING YOUR HEADSET
Wearing your headset Rotate the ear hook to wear your headset on either your left or right ear.
TROUBLESHOOTING
No power
- Make sure that the headset’s battery is charged.
- Make sure that your headset is turned on.
No sound or low volume
- Turn up the volume on your headset and Bluetooth device. Make sure that your Bluetooth device is not muted.
- Shorten the distance between your headset and your Bluetooth device.
- Make sure that your Bluetooth device is turned on, Bluetooth is turned on, and INSIGNIA NS-MBTHS is selected.
- Make sure that your headset is not paired to another Bluetooth device.
- Make sure that your Bluetooth device is not paired to another Bluetooth device.
Cannot establish Bluetooth connection
- Make sure that your headset is in pairing mode. Press and hold the button for four seconds to re-enter pairing mode.
- Shorten the distance between your headset and your Bluetooth device.
- Turn your devices off, then on. Repair your headset and your Bluetooth device.
- Make sure that your headset is not paired to another Bluetooth device.
- Make sure that your Bluetooth device is not paired to another Bluetooth device.
- Make sure that your headset and Bluetooth device are both in pairing mode.
- Make sure that you have selected INSIGNIA NS-MBTHS on your Bluetooth device
Poor sound quality
- Shorten the distance between your headset and your Bluetooth device.
- Pair your headset with a different Bluetooth device.
- Try changing the volume on your Bluetooth device.
- Try moving to a different room or outside location.
INSIGNIA NS-MBTHS does not appear on my Bluetooth device
- Shorten the distance between your headset and your Bluetooth device.
- Put your headset into pairing mode, then refresh your list of Bluetooth devices. For more information, see the documentation that came with your Bluetooth device.
