IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
- DO NOT use, charge or store the hand vacuum outdoors or on wet surfaces. Store the cordless vacuum indoors. Put the vacuum away after use to prevent accidents.
- Use only as described in this manual.
- DO NOT allow it to be used as a toy. Close attention is necessary when used by or near children. DO NOT leave the vacuum unattended while in use.
- DO NOT handle the plug, charger, or appliance with wet hands.
- Fully assemble the hand vacuum before operating. DO NOT use a hand vacuum cleaner without a dust cup filter in place. Use only on dry, indoor surfaces.
- DO NOT use the charger with an extension cord. Plug the charger directly into an electrical outlet. Use a charger only in a standard electrical outlet.
- DO NOT attempt to use the charger with any other product nor attempt to charge this product with another charger. Use only the charger model ZD6W210024US supplied with this appliance.
- DO NOT use the charger with a damaged cord or plug. If a charger or hand vacuum has been dropped, damaged, left outdoors, or dropped in water, return it to EURO-PRO Operating LLC for examination, repair, or adjustment.
- DO NOT abuse the charger cord, pull the cord around sharp edges or corners, or close the door on the cord. Never carry the charger by the cord or yank to disconnect from an outlet; instead, grasp the plug and pull to disconnect. Keep the charger cord away from heated surfaces.
- Use only the manufacturer’s recommended attachments. Always turn off this appliance before connecting or disconnecting the motorized nozzle. DO NOT attempt to change accessories while the unit is running.
- Use extra care when cleaning on stairs.
- Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers, and all parts of the body away from openings and moving parts.

CHARGING YOUR HANDHELD VACUUM
HOW DO I KNOW STEP 1 STEP 2 WHEN THE VACUUM IS CHARGED?
Solid Green
The unit is still charging.
No Light
The unit is fully charged. NOTE: It takes 6 hours for a full charge.
- Before first charge of hand vacuum, make sure the power switch is off.
- Connect charger to charging port on the bottom of the charging base. Turn the charge adapter plug clockwise one-quarter of the way around to secure it into place.
- Plug charging adapter into a wall outlet and place the vacuum on the charging base. The Charging Indicator light will illuminate.
- Remove the vacuum from charger when the Charging Indicator light turns off. See “Maximizing the Life of Your Battery.
USING YOUR VACUUM
WARNING:
The airintake nozzle and attachments must be free of obstructions at all times, otherwise the motor will overheat and could be damaged.
ASSEMBLY
- Push the dust-cup release button and remove the dust cup to verify that the dust cup filter is inside. Then reattach it to the hand vac.
- Insert the desired accessory into the air-intake nozzle.
MAINTENANCE
To keep your vacuum’s suction power optimal, follow these instructions. Make sure unit is off and is removed from the charging stand.
EMPTYING THE DUST CUP
- Press down on the dust-cup release button and pull off the dust cup.
- Remove filter after taking dust cup off unit. Hold dust cup over a trash bin and dump out the debris.
- Remove the dust-cup filter and hand-wash filter with water only. Allow filter to air-dry completely before returning filter to the unit.
BATTERY PACK REPLACEMENT & DISPOSAL
WARNING:
The cordless hand vacuum is powered by NiMh batteries, which must be recycled or disposed of properly in accordance with state, federal and local laws. If uncertain as to how to remove the battery pack, we suggest that you take your hand vacuum to a reputable small appliance service technician to have this service performed.
MAXIMIZING THE LIFE OF YOUR BATTERY
- Do not store the unit with the charging adapter attached and plugged in.
- Do not store in areas of high temperature or humidity.
- Use only the charger supplied with the product. If other chargers are used, the batteries can fail, causing damage to the battery, product or personal property.
- After 3 months of non-use, the product should be fully discharged and then recharged to maximize battery power.
- If the product has never been stored for an extended period of time without use, it will take several complete charge and discharge cycles to realize the full operational time of your product.
- Ni-Mh batteries have a long, useful life but at some time they will need to be replaced. To purchase replacement batteries, visit sharkclean.com
TROUBLESHOOTINGGUIDE
- Check filter to see if it needs cleaning. Follow instructions for rinsing and drying the filter before re-inserting in the vacuum.
- Dust cup may be full; empty dust cup.
- Check for blockages in the dust cup filter.
- Make sure that the battery is fully charged.
Vacuum will not operate.
- The battery needs to be recharged or replaced.
- The battery may be depleted. Charge the vacuum until the Charging Indicator light turns off.
- Ensure nothing is blocking the air-intake opening.
- There is no power in electrical outlet being used while charging. Try to charge using different outlet.
Charging indicator does not illuminate.
- Check to see if the charge adaptor is plugged in properly to the outlet and to the charging port.
- Ensure there is no debris accumulated on the metal charge contacts on the vacuum or charging adaptor.
- Ensure that the electrical outlet is supplying power to the charger.
TWO-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
EURO-PRO Operating LLC warrants this product to be free from material defects and workmanship for a period of two (2) years from the date of purchase when utilized for normal household use, subject to the following conditions, exclusions, and exceptions. The liability of EURO-PRO Operating LLC is limited solely to the cost of the repair or replacement of the unit at our option. This warranty does not cover normal wear of parts and does not apply to any unit that has been tampered with or used for commercial purposes.
This limited warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, abuse, negligent handling, or damage due to faulty packaging or mishandling in transit. This warranty does not cover damage or defects caused by or resulting from damages from shipping or repairs, service, or alteration to the product or any of its parts, which have been performed by a repair person not authorized by EURO-PRO Operating LLC. Non-durable parts, including, without limitation, filters, brushes, and electrical parts which normally require replacement are specifically excluded from this warranty.
If your appliance fails to operate properly while in use under normal household conditions within the warranty period, you may return the complete appliance and accessories with proof of purchase and date, freight prepaid. If the appliance is found by EURO-PRO Operating LLC to be defective, in EURO-PRO Operating LLC’s sole discretion, we will repair or replace it free of charge. Proof of purchase date and check made payable to EURO-PRO Operating LLC in the amount of $12.95 to cover the cost of return shipping and handling must be included.
